I had no idea it was you. LOL. I saw you from a distance and couldn't make out if it was an IORR shirt or not. So I took the camera and zoomed in on you to see. Pretty soon you were close enough and then I snapped a pic of you two. smiling smiley
I have more pictures though, but I don't have time to upload them now. I'll do it in a few days though.

They'll go on RocksOff and Shidoobee in a few minutes (All hail copy & paste).
I got a skull bracelet from her too. I really love it. I'm wearing it now actually. I talked with Trish and John for quite a bit and they were very nice, very approachable and very kind. If I go to USA next year I'd really wanna meet them again at the MSG.

I dunno really. The thought came to my mind too. They didn't have Stones shirts on though. Pretty young. They took a pic of me with my cam, and I took a pic of them with their cam to return the favour.

Thanks for uploading all the pictures from the show
Happy to meet some of you at Pilot Inn, Savoy or elsewhere

It was very cool being at o2 - it was obvious that Stones had a good time, they all seemed very relaxed. Funny when Charlie kept on drumming during the intros. I thought She Was Hot topped the show, but the video on RS.com sounds awful....soundwise, especially Jaggers vocals, it wasn't like that in the o2.
Had great view there, it's realy nice to watch the stage, rather than the screen.

These guys were standing next to me at the rail on Sunday's show ... are they the legendary Japanese couple that have attended zillions of shows ?

Beelyboy, I decided not to write reviews of London or Ireland, as I think my words will come to short, compared to the terrific language - by other IORR people. I'll send you a mail, though

Great to finally meet you too, adotulipson! Too bad you didn't have the time for some drinks - as you say, maybe on the next tour

Apologies for the late views, just returned back to work and first chance to see everything written about sundays concert.

First of all it was great to meet gazza, adrian, erik snow, bv, beast, anatasia, jumpinkentflash, rockman, paulywaul in the pilot inn a couple of hours before the show. I am so pleased to have made the effort to get to the pilot and is nice to put faces to names.

Adrian-l stated in his opinion that thursdays concert edged it for him and i fully agree with him even thou we had better tickets for sunday than thursday < did not make tuesdays concert> we was in block 112 for thursday and there seemed more space plus everybody stood up for all of the concert, i enjoyed the song content and seemed to flow better with a great version of midnight rambler, all down the line, and shine a light.

We also managed to get in the VIP area for both nights and even thou i had pre arranged to get into this area through my friend who works at the 02, stewards were giving out free tickets before the concerts and i must admit its the first time i have smartly dressed for a stones concert it was a nice haven espiecally seeing the rows of people outside the toilets plus my friend looked after us regarding food & drinks.

Sunday ten minutes before the start saw bill wyman walking down by the seats which ws nice and got a nice round of applause. But for us we had the worst start imaginable as we was looking for row w in C block 1 to our horror there was no row w made our way to the stewart who looked for her self and she could not believe it as well, we had to wait for the head guy to come over who took us over to this other guy who eventually up graded us to block B, which meant us missing the the start of the show and rest assured i will be asking the 02 for an explanation of all this. The other thing when the B stage happaned we was at the back of it, which was not the best of views imho even thou it was a great expereince to see the stones so close up.

For me it was nice to see the grandchildren etc up on the stage and for one moment with the lights staying down so long after brown sugar thought we was going to get one more song, until the rightly named
exodus record came on.

the sound sounded better on thursday in the lower tier than sunday on the floor and as some people say the group was at the top of thier game on thursday with midnight rambler probably the third best version i have heard.

Well i have to try and save some money for the next tour and also pay off this tour in the mean time, but despite the high prices and set lists i know i will have to go, hopefully an american show and with an argentina show high on the wish list.

Once again i have to say it was a pleasure meeting the fans at the pilot inn on sunday.

I just wished i had got there earlier and spent more time at the pilot, but to be honest still had memories of twickenham last year and did not want to get in the drinking mood that early on in the afternoon on sunday, because at twickenham when i got absolutely smashed and just about remembered the concert and i wont say anything abput the next morning! LOL

I also felt slightly embarrased due to being casually smart dressed which is not my scene espeically for a stones concert, but sometimes you have to take the bullet and served its purpose for the day.

Heres to the next time.
