Is this basically what you informed me in a different context?
I haven't seen the thread you are referring to, so would be nice to know whether I should do a search.

That DOES happen to be true. However, it's worth bearing in mind that there's always a significant lead time between the Stones deciding they're gonna do this/that/the other and actually doing it. So yes - a new stage design is indeed in the works, and yes - it COULD mean they step out onto it at some point next year, but it doesn't necessarily mean so definitively. But it's an encouraging sign nevertheless.

Theyve already commissioned Mark Fisher to design a stage for an arena tour of the US in 2008 - so, yes. Other prominent technicians involved in putting a tour together have also been given notice of the intention to play more shows in 2008.
Why wouldn't they play? Anyone who has attended the shows lately could not have avoided seeing that the boys are in great shape, having fun and playing like hell? They love it, and why should they stop? I don't get it.... They love what they do, and I definetely think they will go on. Maybe not two year tours, but why not 20 shows in the US next year? Or 20 in Europe? I don't see why not----
