No one will confirm the numbers here. No matter what happens all is well.

Because some of us think the prices are too éxpensive these days.

yes ok svendborg, you are right.
it`s really not OK!!!
but a lot of stones fans are in the age, they can pay those prices.
it`s hard to explain and understand all these things.

I don't think anybody has confirmed attendence figures yet - but still you pinpoint 18.200 .
where on earth do you get these numbers from?
were you there?

LOL Thats funny , last year someone told me that about stuttgart.

I personally loved the place and the concert.

Ok they dont have any Blues clubs, but real nice people.

Different horses for different courses I guess.

yes svendborg, you are on the right side, i know.

Yeah and if they dare make another tour, my advise would be. Wait 2 or 3 years reduce the prices 30-40%, then they would be able to sell out.

Just got home from the 02 show .
My thoughts are that it was a great show that lived up to expectations . I heard LIB and CYHMK live for the first time and BOB was a nice surprise . Jagger was his usual awesome , energetic self though he did slip up in a couple of songs , notably at the start of TD . Keith was in great form and clearly enjoying himself . YGTS went down a storm . Ronnie was on fire especially on CYHMK and I had to laugh when Mick introduced him as the Gaugin of Greenwich . Charlie was Charlie .
I was in the Lower Tier Block 105 which gave a great view of the B Stage . I didn't see too many empty seats and the posters around the O2 all said sold out for the 21st and 23rd .
The crowd really got going in the 2nd half of the set and the infamous warhorses got people on their feet and rocking .
The only thing I couldn't understand was people leaving before the encore ?
I'm already looking forward to Thursday and Sunday .

How was security going in?

sorry if this's been asked before, but with a floor ticket can one move around and stand near the satge, or do we have to stay seated?

There ya go - nice first report.
Thank you Earls Court.

...and what did the stage look like?

What exactly does "not too many seats" mean? It has been reported thousands of empties. Confirm or deny please.

Security at the Arena entrance were doing the usual bag checks and then there were a couple of people just directing people to seats . On the floor area it looked as if people were kept to their seats and did not move around though , I must be honest , when the B stage set was on I was dancing too much to notice .
The stage set was very basic with a single giant video screen behind the band . Simple but effective .
Whoever is spreading rumours of thousands of empty seats is stark raving mad IMHO . I couldn't see much of the upper tiers from where I was but they looked well occupied all round the arena to me .

Bloody awful audience, worst I have ever seen at a Stones concert and this was my 15th. I have NEVER been asked to sit down for christs sake. Surely if you want to sit and watch the Stones you could buy the DVD, it is cheaper. I've never seen the clapping die out during the introductions either. Usually if Ronnie is being a berk the crowd keep cheering him, tonight everyone got polite applause. Very disappointed, too the edge off of a great gig, hoping for more on the other nights, I know everyone complains about the warhorses but tonight is the first time I agree - not because I didn't want to hear them, just that it was the only thing anyone reacted to.

Agree with the above, a few hundred empty seats, no more than that. Honestly, I really don't understand people. Why would you pay all of that money just to sit and watch like you were at the Proms. Oh and of course the prat who asked me to sit talked through songs as well.

I'd have punched him!

That is a problem with seated gigs - boring people. It is always much more exciting with GA because the people on the pitch really want to be there.

...now I'm back at Heathrow and I like that to say that this show was really amazing! My favourites were "Let it bleed", "Beast of Burden" and "Can't you hear me knocking". My flight back to Duesseldorf will go in the morning and so I've got time enough to think about this great show!!!

Hope that these 3 shows are not the end of Rolling Stones Live-shows...

Hey Stones-fans, hope you'll enjoy the next 2 shows at the O2! After Nijmegen, Frankfurt, Duesseldorf, Hamburg and the first London Show my Stones-Tour is now over :-(

Maybe we'll see us next time ;-).

Just got back...

Great show, some nice picks (Rocks Off, Silver, CYHMK, Beast of Burden, Paint It Black, Let It Bleed, a James Brown cover I can't recall the name of - sorry!).

Guitars were loud, Ronnie was on fire, Mick his usual high energy self.

Come show time, the concert was at least 95% sold out so no worries on that score...

HATED the security - kept telling people to sit down when we were trying to get up and dance and sing - what the $%^& is that all about????!!

Just got back - well, 20 minutes ago. Funnily enough on my way home I was thinking that I didn't think anyone could complain about the setlist and the first thread I see, (not this one), is one moan after another. LOL!

Well, I thought it was an absolutely stunning gig. Everyone in the band seemed up for it and in a good mood and it would be unfair to single anyone out. I will though - Ronnie! I haven't seen the Stones for a year now and he is reborn! Not that he was bad last year but on this form he's impeccable. What a great night he had and how focused and healthy he looked. Stick with sobriety, Ronnie, it really suits you!

Mick was wonderful; very energetic and sang great. He took a bow too early at (what he thought was) the end of Rocks Off but I rather like the odd fluff. This is live music! Charlie was very good all night and Keith gave it his heart and soul. It was the first time I'd see him do YGTS and it was devastating. He's actually a very good front man, I thought. Other highlights for me were Can't You Hear Me Knocking, (sublime), and the whole B stage set which really rocked the house.

SO glad I got tickets for all three nights - I'd say I can't wait for the rest but I can cos I don't want it to be over too soon. They'd be mad to stop - and I'm sure they won't. They are on top of their game.

Superb, simply superb!

I take everything back - great setlist, absolutely killer version of Knockin', plus I was right there at the barrier for the B Stage, so I saw them REAL close up.

Did, ur, anyone notice the dark haired Latina in the tight red and white top at the front of the B Stage. She was not only having orgasms whenever Jagger got close, but she whipped her tatas out during Honky Tonk Women. Beautiful girl, beautiful tatas.
