Why can't the boys sellout in their homeland. Thes should be completely sold out. FLoor seats and uppers and lowers widely available.

There are not any floor seats avail for the 26th. I've been trying Ticketmaster for a week. Where are they?

these shows are all technically sellouts with holds being released due to changed sightlines etc. oh-and why does it matter?

Yep, can't understand it. Only charging five times what Prince is charging at the same venue, but much less than Streisand!

You're obviously woefully unfamiliar with Ticketmaster's modus operandus, the f***ing shows have been as good as sold out since five minutes after they went on sale back in March/April, because the agency NEVER releases ALL (I repeat ALL) the tickets in one fell swoop. They do it in dribs and drabs, selling from the top and the back first and steadily improving the quality of the seats they release right up until the day before the shows or even the day OF them. That's what you're seeing now, the last few batches of seats that they'd have been holding back. Bottom line will be ... how many empty seats will YOU see around you when you're in there ?? That's the only way to judge it; judging the extent to which they've filled a venue simply cannot be done by means of looking at what is available on Ticketmaster in the last few days before the show(s).

And anyway, so bloody what if they haven't sold quite EVERY damm seat ?? It hardly makes them any lesser band, does it ? So they sold 20,500 instead of 21,000 ? BIG deal !! You can buy any friggin' seat you want for either of the two Police shows in Twickenham on September 8th/9th RIGHT NOW, and they've been on sale for sodding months too ? What does that mean ? It means NOTHING whatsoever in terms of the band's appeal or success, it just means that TM have released seats TODAY that they weren't making available YESTERDAY, that's about it !

In that case I'm having a good laugh at him.

it's a protest against people, who still insist
on calling these 60+ year old men, 'boys'

I bought my tickets at the first oppertunity,I could only afford upper tier at the time , so I chose block 421 row A ,at least it would be on Keiths side and I reasoned that from the front of the upper tier I could get a good overall view of both the band and all you wonderfull people having a good time.
Last year I was nearer ,as I am registered disabled I got seats in the disabled area but could not say hand on heart that I enjoyed myself,so this year I wiil be with the crowd all be it higher up,but I wouldn't be able to cope that near anyway as I have to sit down every so often.
I had intended to try and get tickets for the other 2 shows 21 and 23 but circumstances have changed dramatically since then and now this is not an option, so ,

I AM SO PLEASED I BOUGHT MY TICKETS WAY BACK THEN,

because if I had waited untill now I would not be able to afford even the very cheapest seats and would have missed perhaps the last show

Bottom line, The Stones can't sell out shows in England anymore.
Its sad but true.

I'm pleased for you, that you bought your ticket when you could afford it.
I hope it'll be one of the best shows on tour :-)

If you follow ROPENI's logic that means NO ONE has EVER sold out a show because as Pauly said there are ALWAYS (ALWAYS!!!) seats available for any band/any show. And that's a fact.

Bargains to be had on ebay - 2 £120 tickets went for £80 this morning.
Stones should have waited till after summer bank holiday, too many people are more interested in getting away to sunnier climes than seeing the Rolling Stones.

People I've spoken to are not prepared to pay too much for concert tickets in general and as the Stones were here last year, they're not bothered about seeing them again now. Its really a tour for the die hard fans - I hope they come up with something fresh to keep the die hards happy, but I doubt it.

i consider myself a dieheard. but i've not been inclined to buy a ticket for any of the UK shows this time

its just too expensive!

and i don't feel any worse off for giving it a miss

when you can get a 7 day holiday in Ibiza or somewhere for less than a top price ticket for a 2 hour concert you know something is seriously @#$%& worong with the world

not to mention the hotel costs on London etc

@#$%& it

Sold Out means no tickets available at ticketmaster,or any of other normal ticket selling places.
Yes scalpers most of the time will have tickets which you can purchase at a high price.
Stones tickets ARE available rigt now at ticketmaster, and have been available till showtime for most of the shows in this tour, plainly there is not much interest in the band anymore.
AND THATS A FACT

It's true that tickets sales have been extremely slow this year. I do believe it's partly do to the fact they toured last year and to the extreme rise in prices compared with last year.

Yeah and Copenhagen finally after months almost sold out as well.
But that dosn't change the fact, that tickets normally sells out the first day for the Stones here and this year the sold the final ones on the day.
Still I think it's the ticket prices, that have gone up with 72% since they played Copenhagen i 2003...that's what I call greed.
People would make a revolution if other prices went up that much.

Copenhagen fx. didn't sell out immediately in 1990 - you could still by tickets on the day - so no big deal not selling out in 2007

Yes it's a big deal buddy...last year they sold 84.500 tickets for Horsens and there was a waiting list for 20.000 tickets more than that.

No not a big deal - they sold out very fast in 2006 - but previous years no fast sell out.

You have almost every time been able to buy tickets to the very last day in Denmark. In fact Denmark has never been a very big Stones land, take a look at the album sales, radioplay etc. - Stones was never very big Denmark - don't know about it today...

Well off course you know this better than I do...end of discussion concerning the ticket sales :-(

And sure they've never been big in Denmark...well my fellow Stones fan, A Bigger Band went to number 1...that's ONE...in the danish top 40.

Yeah, but take a look some years ago - they have never sold many records compared to other bands.

My dear buddy, you're to stubburn. No matter what I know and tell you, you've got some kind of answer or should I say claim...let's stop it here :-)

Oh, yes, ROPENI... You're "right" once again... Performing in front of 60,000 people in 2007, by these prices, in London after having attracted 100,000 last year in the same city (forget other UK shows) does mean "no interest in the band"... Playing to 910,000 in the Europe last year and adding up 1,100,000 this year, by these prices, does mean "no interest" in the band... An attendance of 4,700,000 worldwide means "no interest in the band"... And you call your funny moaning "FACT"... Funny joke, indeed!

I am not stubborn - I have been a fan since 68 and I know what I am talking about.
