Paul, do you know if there is a chance of upgrading ones tickets, if other, better tickets are available? I have to go to the boxoffice to get mine (you know the story..) for the 21st, so i thought i would ask.

Hysterical. I'm in the US so I can't send messages but I always like to question the sellers. One I clicked on said, "Great Front View." Uh, those seats were in 105, the back of the arena and ROW Q! That's not front. It's funny, whenever they say, "full view," that means way upper deck. Screw the scalpers!

maybe the could build a larger stage .. when all these tickets are in hands of scalpers ... it will be an empty O2 ....

I know what you mean, it's the descriptions that crack me up. All these terms like "fantastic view", "best seats in the house", "genuine first row" that are a load of complete and utter bollocks when you actually look at the seat locations. I don't know whether the way some of these idiots carry on is enough to make you laugh or to make you cry, but either way ... reading some of the descriptive nonsense is in some peverse way mildly amusing. Anyway, it looks as if as per usual when it comes to highly prices Rolling Stones tickets, the scalpers have yet again somewhat over-estimated either good old fashioned demand and/or people's willingness to pay even further obscenely inflated prices - and stand to get their greedy little fingers burned. GOOD !!!

They got screwed big time on the Police tour as well. Over estimated what people would pay and were stuck with loads of tickets as the Police took the stage. Some people have been getting floor seats for $20 a few minutes before the show. You just have to hold out for 'em. Good, let the scalpers get screwed for a change.

That's very good to hear, because I live in SW London and they're playing Twickenham Stadium in early September. I remember walking down there in June last year when the Eagles were playing about an hour or two before showtime and within about 10 minutes had got myself a 4th row ticket on the floor virtually dead centre in front of the stage for face value. I'm hoping to be able to do exactly the same for the Police in a couple of weeks time.

You have no idea what you are talking about. I have friends in the ticket biz, and all made huge profits on the Police tour.

Well bully for them !! Personally, I can't see too many of these 400 odd scalpers making any HUGE profits for the Police Twickenham shows on 8th and 9th of next month.

I'm talking about what happened in Chicago. I was there, I saw it with my own two eyes. The scalpers were standing on the streets trying to sell the tickets. People wouldn't buy them for those prices. I went back to one scalper and hour later, and he had cut his prices in half. I know many people did profit from the Police, but many lost BIG TIME.

Well, it looks like there is still demand if the seats are good.

If they're good, perhaps so. Loads of "not so good" ones still out there though !
