does anyone seriously think there will be another tour ?

i know we've heard it all before. but i just can't see it

or even the point of it either. this tour is supposed to be promoting a new studio album yet they're barely playing anything from it. its decended into another licks style greatest hits show

i'm not sure how long they can possibly keep doing tours like that

maybe now is the right time to call it a day

Theyve already commissioned Mark Fisher to design a stage for an arena tour of the US in 2008 - so, yes. Other prominent technicians involved in putting a tour together have also been given notice of the intention to play more shows in 2008.

This tour is actually more of a greatest hits show than Licks was.

I dont think they'll tour again like they have been on this one...ie, on the scale they have (size of venues and length of tours) and in the variety of locations.

the need to freshen the musical structure of the shows is something I'd agree with you about.

Great news.

Very creative way to whine about the setlistwinking smiley

Glad to hear it was a great show. Thanks for the reports Gazza.

I guess future tours will be on a much smaller scale, arenas and a few theatres here and there.

I read these predictions for the next tour and noone included the city/country with the largest audience this summer - Belgrade. Feedback after this show was so good that there's gonna be 50% more people on the next concert, no matter if it's gonna take place next month, year or later.

Belgrade again in 2009 or 2010? No hope I think no matter how Belgrade 2007 did sell, but I bet on Zagreb and Sofija. If they tour again, they'll visit new places or venues they didn't play for a while. Except things like Paris or London of course which will appear on every tour.

3 shows in one town in one country is good idea. even three outdoors is ok. that would be not so exhausted for them and cheaper ( for us too)

for ex

Munchen 3x
Paris 3x
Barcelona 3x
London 3x
Prague 3x
Milan 3x

That all - the whole tour

they never played Bordeaux in France which is a big city.
Brussels was cancelled last year and they did not play it for a long time...

I'm kinda dreaming of one central indoor show - only availlable for all you kinda folks - only IORR, RocksOff, Shedoobee, Nordic Vikings, the dutch forum that escapes me right now etc... - we know who we are anyway.....gasp,....

and then we'll have gig, a €10ner for each, at the Arena in Berlin.
You can choose if you want to camp for free or get a first class suite the Stones wouldn't say No to.
you wouldn't regret coming early or leaving the city late - there's always something going on.
...and it's not so pricey as other big cities

It would be the greatest summit, ever heard of - I bet ya!
