I've been meaning for some time now to do a Keef mix Cd from his stones and solo stuff. what would your top 10 Keef toones be. I did have a boot of him and the barbarians from the infamous Candadian gig ( the post drug bust one) but it dissapeared sad smiley

Sleep Tonight
Could've Stood You Up
Hate It When You Leave
Run Rudloph Run
Let's Go Steady
How I Wish
All About You
We Had It All
Before They Make Me Run
How Can I Stop?

Picking ten was a lot harder than I thought it would be!

Here are 10 more great ones:

Gimme Shelter (Live w/ Winos Eileen EP Single)
Too Rude (Dirty Work)
Struggle (Talk IS Cheap)
999 (Main Offender)
Whip It Up (Live at the Hollywood Palladium)
Deuce and a Quarter (All the King's Men- Scotty Moore)
You Win Again (Timeless: Hank Williams Tribute by Hank Williams Tribute)
You Got The Silver (Let It Bleed)
Slipping Away (Steel Wheels)
Tanqueray (Johnnie Johnson- Johnnie B. Bad)

I'm tired, I'm tired of doing what I'm told.
Things are moving way too slow.

There has been so many Keith stuff over the years.
Particularly during the last 10 years there have been many collaborations.
Like for G. Parson tribut/Norah jones/Willie Nelson,etc.etc.

I wonder whether someone got most of that stuff (+other Stonesrelated things?) on CD's ?!
Would love to trade with them !

"Hate It When You Leave", Madrid, 1992. I don't know who helps Keith with the singing, but he's fantastic.

Keith's best? Mmmmm? 11/8/69, 2nd, comes to mind. A strong, classic performance.

The guy who sang much of "Hate It When You Leave" live in 1992-1993 was Babi Floyd.

Although many don't like it, I'd have to include "It Means A Lot" - awesome rhythm/lead work by the master.

And the great line "don't get too excited, baby, before the sex".

"No Anchovies, Please"
