Chippy, these songs were broadcasted in 1972 :

Sympathy For The Devil
Stray Cat Blues
Prodigal Son
You Gotta Move
Love In Vain
Live With Me
Gimme Shelter
Little Queenie
Satisfaction

It's a pretty good mono recording - but quite frankly I think the audience recording is better. There's not much punch or flow over the mono broadcast.
It's been available on bootleg for 35 years.....best release untill now is on VGP....the remastered VGP 003 - "Oakland 69"

Yes- I guess it's the same, but I haven't heard that version - so I really wouldn't know.
It's not often these comments from boot-reviews is correct though...sometimes I think it's written by the company themselves. But one never know before one hear it...!

Oakland '69 raved about on the Buy/Sell/Trade pages:

Recycled shite. Sister Morphine did a superb release of this in 2001 which is brilliant. And ought to have been the LAST WORD on this release.

IMO the Tarantura release is superb. They got to the original tapes. I suspect that this new release may be a knockoff of that.

The SM version is by far the worst version ever. It's compressed, mid heavy and muffled. Back then there was a huge discussion about SM releases as they charged big buks for CDR's while the upgrade on sound is debatalble. This release was their worst.

Tarantura used heavy noise reduction which is really evident between songs so audience sounds quite muffled, kills a lot atmosphere, by taking away ambience from sound.
