Went down to the Stones hotel yesterday. It was really nice weather (as today), relaxed people, not chaotic at all. Blondie came and went, as did the female entourage of the band. Was a bit confused by one of the women actually. Is Patti joining Keith here in Oslo too? I'm thinking of a tall, pretty blond - 50 maybe - with more cheekbone than Jo. She traveled with a PA and a young girl of maybe 15. Does anybody know?

BTW, bought and watched the Biggest Bang DVD yesterday, cuing it up for my preparty today. Its awesome!

Yesterday I experienced something that really underlines the importance of not mentioning the hotel name.
We were in a bar in the hotel were the Stones are staying. I went over to the reception to meet the guy from the record company EMI Virgin, when a clearly disturbed man roughly made his way to the reception desk. this was during the period they barred the entrance becaus Ronnie was about to come in from dinner. The disturbed man had several handwritten papers in his hand and yelled at the receptionist. I recogniced a man from the hotel secutiry and told him to get the man out of the lobby before Ronnie's arrival. However, the hotel security man did not take it seriously, so in the bar later that night, I told the Stones head of security about the intruder. He took it seriously.
So yes, let's not write the names of the hotels they're staying in as they're staying there. After they've left, it's ok.

True. If the weirdos know where to go then you will for sure not see the Stones anywhere near. Their security will make sure the Stones are secure if the hotel security don't do their job getting rid of the intruders. And what is an intruder? Not a true fan who just want to be near their big heroes, but people without manners, who probably don't know the name of the drummer, but still want to meet Mick, or just get a personal stunt. Very disturbing. I see them in every city. Use your brains. Don't make it easy for these weirdos. Thank you.

According to [www.gec.no] they go on at 20:30. But I doubt they'll be on any time before 21:00 at least... I guess around the same time as in the other Nordic countries (21:30-21:45).

I aggree, but then I don't understand why a psychopatic murderer were invited to the afterparty in Copenhagen...that beats me.
Jønke, the head of Hells Angels in Denmark went to the party at the Hotel D'Angleterre. He's a wellknown figure here and have done a 12 year sentence for gunning down another rocker psycho in the streets of Copenhagen with a machine gun...the security people ought to keep such types away from the Stones.

I too think they will be on shortly after 21:00. I might be wrong, but I think concerts at Valle Hovin have to end at 23:00 due to the neighbours. In 1998 the show began 20:55 and ended 23:10. Since the show is shorter this time my guess is 21:10

In 1990 (6-7 August) I think they started one hour earlier and finished before 22:30. Most of the show was in daylight (almost).

Only 500 tickets left, so the show is sold out.

So....people buying those expensive packages gets into the stadium before the rest of the lot. Hmmmm - that's quite annoying
