AH well, if you look at it that way, I understand - I think of him as the old uncle I never had.

5 out of 6 stars in Aftenposten.... nothing but good words,

"Stones are depending on the entertainer Mick Jagger, but it's the great noise coming from behind of him we really dig (....) the sight of Keith Richards gives the young audience 'rock'n roll-shivers' "

Quite a great report here....

"Dagsavisen" says....

"a triumph all the way - maybe their best ever concert in Norway..."
"Keith and Ron are the ultimate rock'n roll twins..."
"...and let's make it clear, since the bad rumours have arrived before Rolling Stones did: Keith Richards was fully capable of brushing off of all the things he's been accused of. High-class-posing tonight. He even plays You Got THe SIlver and Wanna Hold You, with big success"
"Jagger does an amazing act....Charlie keeps drumming..."

They're just going through the motions and that's all there is to it. Are you all holding out hope for the set list for the last three shows? Don't hold your breath.

That sparkle top shirt and running paint jacket Mick borrowed from Liza Minnelli (or was it Celine Dion?) has gotten cool written all over it.... Set List not bad, would rather hear 2 great songs - BITCH and MONKEY MAN then one so - so song - SHE'S SO COLD....

GREAT PHOTOS - looks like somebody already did some Photo Shop to them (or something - they're very good but look .... digitally manipulated somehow....hmmmm)

WHO'S THE DUDE IN THE IORR T-SHIRT? Shirt looks top notch - very nice !!!

If anyone else has more shots like this, I would be grateful.

Helter... what looks Photoshopped to you?

Just back from Oslo. Excellent show. But why special treatment of a certain association present at certain free concert 1969?
6-7 of them escorted in on the field by police from the left side of the stage. Seems very strange that they get such special treatment, regarding the past?

I understand why this band can't stop playing! They are not resting on their laurels, but showing how good and tough rock can be! I just love their style on this concert - tough, energetic!

Well, it COULD BE that because the sun stays out so late in Northern Europe around this time of year (well, actually 6/21 or 22 is the longest day) that seeing stage lighting mixed with natural (very late sunset) light gives the group a kind of weird lighting balance that looks a bit.... not natural... that might be it, the colors look a tiny bit off (not wrong, just different). I'm a photographer (Fashion, Travel) so I notice all this silly little sh*t automatically.... I think it's probably the weird lighting mix (they do look slightly over saturated though, just a bit... not saying it's bad, I like it, just doesn't feel 100% natural) Actually , very good shots - I like 'em (I see Mick is giving his future Solo Vegas show outfits a tryout....of course the pants will need some sparkle too - lol)

How they play is much more important than what they play. I was in Columbus when they debuted sway, which looks like gold to an internet set-list whiner, but it was allright. Much much better when I heard it a year later in Amsterdam. When they are having one of those special nights, and really cooking, then it all sounds fantastic, no matter how much bias you have against the song. Start me Up is the song I never need to hear again, but twice, depite my feelings I have been blown away by it when they are in the groove.

Many pictures here from Norwegian Nettavisen which give them a well-deserved 6 of out 6: [www.side2.no]

Surprisingly many young people in the audience, way too young to have seen them in Oslo 9 years ago. Set list was fine.
