It wasn't easy to find your seat
...as they had very complicated seating plans and FOS area had many sections




...but the fans always had a great pre show party

I'm assuming the 1792 tour was strictly acoustic??? Anybody got a boot or would that be at all possible???

Of course all songs were strictly acoustic. I read it in a great dusty book called iorr by av, and all boots are lost.

actually that's nonsense; ben franklin's early work was called into service, and in concert with some early da vinci drawings, lestat, i mean 'keith' was able to harness electo magnetic power at will and translate that thru speaker cones from hive paper and honey...it reminded people of bees and crickets and was at first referred to as 'buzz tone' and there was indeed a special foot device that would begin transmission; two hogs were kept on a tandem belt to generate the primitive electricity. it was MOSTLY acousitc but not entirely so...it was used prominently on 'may i yield ye some satisfaction madam' and it made many a hoop skirt damp.

Keep in mind that many of Mick's high level contacts were very helpful in "The Lads" being able to tour despite many weather and transportation adversities.

It wasn't just weather and transport. Many of the countries they visited on the 1793 tour of Europe were at war with each other, so getting the band from England to France without getting shot as spies was a big problem.

However, there was an informal arrangement where distinguished scholars and philosophers were allowed to come and go in neutral ships for genuine scientific purposes.

So a scheme was cooked up which involved Bill (who did after all know a bit about archaeology) posing as Sir William Hamilton, travelling to Paris to give a lecture on the Antiquities of Naples to the Academie Francaise. The band's instruments travelled in packing cases labelled "Classical Sculpture - Handle With Care", and everyone else posed as "Sir William's" retinue of servants.

They had no problem persuading Bill to do it once he was told that as part of his disguise he would be accompanied by a young groupie claiming to be Sir William's mistress Emma...

Since the cats out of the bag tho, when Spock & R2D2 replaced darryl and chuck, things really took off.

My lips are sealed except that I can't help but say it's SO great to have a hot keyboard player again who tells Mick what the setlist is really going to be.

The 1792 setlist is transmitted:
