yeh things are mega-fkt these days but no one wants to admit to the level of greed.
I hauled a dozen sqwakers in a rack on the back of my mule
and all I got was beat up by a seamstress for some feather-suit that funk-boy thought
would wave and flutter when his bottom wiggled. I never saw those chickens again either. A LOT of kids saw this too. Disgraceful.

Plus the only one we actually got to meet was Bill who stared at my wife like a cougar does a rabbit, and didn't even talk to me.

This was a great tour. The way they cleared the peasants out of the way so the horse and carriage can make it to the stage was incredible.

It wasn’t all fun and games on that tour. Times were pretty tough back then and security was non-existent. If somebody tall was standing in front of you then you could just whack their head off without drawing too much attention. No muss, no fuss. A lot of fans went home headless on that tour. I was one of them. I never saw them again after that one time. Wasn’t much point without any head.

If I understood correctly from old manuscripts, the famous "ancient art of weaving" was born during that tour.



It still goes on today and will be on the 2092 tour on Mars !
That is more than real and beyond !

The 5 grams are still a currency but it changed through the years. During the 1972 tour it was 5 grams of a powder... To attend a Cher concert today it is 5 grams of Botox.

They did marry younger back .

i didn't see them till 1795; they had changed guitarists but were still pretty good.
They had a taylor for awhile; very cool clothes the entire time he was with them. They named the new guy 'wood' some kind of joke about where they got the guitars from i think.

Recently discovered image of the 1792 tour announcement press conference

It was the first time I heard them play "Yankee Doodle Dandy" live.

An intended 1792 show in western Pennsylvania had to be dropped owing to the turmoil and unrest of the Whiskey Rebellion there. Keith, too, was against the federal whiskey tax and had proposed a benefit concert.

Seems to be the very first tour where they adopted the '14 shows only' format.
Every state in the Union had high hopes but, in the end, Georgia got the shaft and was left off the schedule.

It would, sadly, be 173 more years until the Georgia peaches got licked by The Rolling Stones.
