"Ronnies playing is much more under proffesional level-there was four exceptions- Love is strong, YCAGWYW, Silver and Paint it black"

What a load of qualified bullshit.. That is, I didnt attend the Warsaw gig;
but I cant possibly imagine Ron's shape changed so drastically from the 22nd
till the 24th.

Ron is absolutely in top top form.

Hi Baboon, sorry for not making it to the Staropramen on Sunday:/ But you're wrong here. It did dramatically changed but...... the other way. He was SO MUCH BETTER in Warsaw than in Brnosmiling smiley

Might not have been able to view ya at the bar anyway:
place was flooded by Stones fans in all modulations..
If Ron was much better, he must have been out off this world in Poland!

If this what Ronnie is presenting nowadays is great , exciting , moving or simply good we have simply different tastes .No problem for me - i didn`t want to offend anybodys feelings. But IORR is different place than Shedoobee so i say what i`ve seen especially that it is Warsaw`s show review place....

No problem, I did not feel offended, probably neither did Wojtek. I just wanted to point out that it is not really only a propaganda what he wrote. Probably half the people feel the way you do and half the way we do. Different tastes, yeah.

sater, your dislike with Warsaw is so sad and somehow legendary on this board. I feel sorry for you, I really do. Like it was said - you've missed a great show and I think it's very good for you. It's the price for placing some personal antagonism before the loyality to the Stones. Stones didn't play for Warsaw - they have played for all people. Mick welcomed people from other polish cities and towns and he mentioned the Ukraine and Belorus. It was so cool.
You always write how bad Warsaw is but sorry to tell you - it's you not the Warsaw fans who behave like an @#$%&. Personally I'd never miss the Stones concert at my country. I owe it to those guys who come all way down here to bring us their music.

I only presented my and my friends point of view. We simply liked the show.

(I'm not from Warsaw - accually very opposite, and it was my 9th concert from Bcool smiley.

People who were there and did not like the show have a right to feel like that. People who were not there can only repeat good or bed propaganda they read or heard.

I was not in Warsaw, and I don´t repeat any propanganda, but the picture I get of the show is so mixed that it would be nice to read some more reviews - there are still none on the Tour-Review site

whoosh - i ain't really back yet, but that was just plain outstanding -
what a *beautiful* show, cookin all the way! the guitars were *conversing* so fierce & tight & fine,
unearthing all kinds of splendid twists & turns in the music - and that hot dirty engine room -
and that amazing skinny little frontman cat ... ~*thank you Rolling Stones!*~

and thank you too, to whoever took this beautiful shot. that was us - my companions & me -
lightin the Mick up like that, and what a joy it was! :E

You're so right, with sssoul! I just don't get what the guys who roll around in the negativity mud are on about. It does not seem as if they were at the same show as the rest of us! For me, this was the best show on this tour - so far. But I would not be surprised if the boys have even better shows up their sleeves. And the Polish crowd was the best I've seen outside Argentina. At least from where I stood. FOS Ronnie side, line two. And even when the video screen showed the crowd, you could see a "forest of hands". One could feel the love, the warmth - going both ways. One of my best Stones experiences ever. Some people say it rained... I almost didn't notice - because the crowd was on fire.

Here is some video coverages:

Seems Keith had the same problems with YGMR as in Belgrade - the song started ok, but then he had no clue when to play the main riff. The result is quite the disaster...Come on baby, as Mick put it!

um ... YGMR has a moment in the middle of it that Keith plays differently each time.
that's how the number works. if someone doesn't get the force of that, i feel sorry for them.

Re: Warsaw show and news updates

Yeah...for me it just sounds like he was lost...
But I don't want to and can't spoil your fun anyway!
Perhaps I just don't get the magic of Keith's talent of always adding something new and fresh to the songs...as bv said in his review, perhaps the best YGMR of the whole tour? Perhaps my ears need to get checked...

That's right! the "extended" version in Budapest was very good as well! Loved it!

Glad you guys had such a great concert!

I'm not looking at Keith through rose tinted specs and claiming that his playing is always great...but much of what folks hear and complain about is purely a result of his tendancy to wing everything in the moment.
Sometimes the results are wonderful...Other times they stink ;^)

hard for me to write anything like review
I feel banged and I really feel that I can fly...

oh man, that was beautiful
with joy from stage, guitars up loud, with Keith being like a raptor bitting his claws into animal' flash just to make us cry from joy and emotions few minutes later...

I can't believe what these guys can do...
I remmeber walking out of the venue in Warsaw hearing many people simply asking themselves in polish "what the @#$%& was that!".
Ladies & Gentelman - that was THE ROLLING STONES & you've just been banged from every side you can possibly imagine,

thank you Rolling Stones,

that's what I live for.

With Sssoul, so it was you who started singing Happy Birthday! I just knew it! I was standing by the stage B in Warsaw but I saw you and Piotr on the screen for a while.

did anyone at the show heard Keith saying "I love you dearly" after You Got The Silver?

I heard it clearly and I know to who it was directed, but it is not audible on the recording (thank you whoever you are for sharing it, it's beautiful!) so now I don't know if I was imagining, halucinating things...which is quite possible after what the MAN did on You Got The Silver..."tell me, hooooney" - oh shit, it's too much for me to handle at once...too much. how did he manage to sang it with such a high voice...you just have to LOVE this man with all heart & soul....

thank you Keith,
those moments I truly could die for...

i heard Keith say "i love you too" - and i know why :E - but i think that was before YGTS

>> what a great photo, i don't think i've ever seen mick relate to the audience that way? what did you guys do? <<

isn't that sweet?! Mick really seemed surprised and truly touched that this little cluster
of all-out natural-born Keith's Tribe would be singing happy birthday to him :E
