the bars we're looking at will serve food, ideally, As its a heavily populated area, you'll be hardly be stuck

WHY does Mcdonald`s always appear as if by magic when someone mentions food on this site ?????????.

I dont get it, Honest I really just cant figure out why anyone would actually choose to eat in that god forsaken place.

And please DO NOT call it a Restaurant.

Restaurants do not serve your meal in Polystyrene containers and expect you to eat with plastic cutlery.

Rant over.

Is there anywhere in the area that's fairly safe to hang around all night ?
We don't do hotels ;^).
We'll just be killing time till the 6am train home from Kings Cross.

As a Londoner, I'd say that a lot of inner London is safe but suggest that you don't hang around the Kings Cross area, which I believe is still a well known red light area! Try Covent Garden, Leicester Square etc.,
