Maybe we can place here all news about (before) Warsaw concert.
Today I found 2 messages:
-20th of July (Friday) on Polsat tv (Polish chanell) at 23.55 a documentary called: "The Rolling Stones - 5 days before the Bang" (we should expect Mick to speak Polish there) and the next day at 9.00 more news in show called: "It rolls" (also Polsat tv).
-RS are coming to Poland on Monday (http://www.cgm.pl/aktualnosci/wyswietl.php?O_NEWS=30815662&PHPSESSID=512a332f481bdb7956d0fba24deff1dc)
Later I will put here some video links (if I find any)
According to this message the Stones will play 150 minutes. LOL! Either press or the promoter knows nothing about the show! It shows how proffesional they are. Anyway, are there any news what the Stones will do after the show? July 26 is Mick's birthday. Is he going to spend it in Warsaw or does he prefer to stick around St. Petersburg?

I only reasd that Charlie wants to go to Janow Podlaski again (like almost every year) with his wife to buy some horses.

Bad ? You mean absolutely bloody diabolical, don't you ? Ten out of ten to da Mickster for trying though !!
Did he say "witam panow" ("hello gentlemen")? At least it sounds like... It's nice of him that he put an effort to invite fans in Polish but he could've done it better. He is able to. His Polish during 1998 show was much better than this. Neverthless, full respect to sir Jagger.
True paulywaul, he must have spent AT LEAST 2 minutes on the entire project - lol !! But it is a clever, unique idea, I think he's the only big time rocker to try so many languages so, yeah, thumbs up for the attempts I must say, he is going the extra mile/kilometer....
I agree. Important is that we (Polish) can understand him. I don't care abut "a bit" bad pronounciation. He does this kind of gesture in many languages so let's allow him for it.

I bet many ppl will be disappointed to find out the difference.
Exactly, that's my point. When the promoteur misleads fans, saying such things they'll be dissapointed when the Stones leave the stage after 2h. And the next day you'll read in papers that the band ignored us, like it was the case with RHCP, who actually played a bit longer than in most other shows.

Polish promoters are the different story. It seems to me it's the story of some surrealistic parody. Then add Polish journalists who claim the best rock band ever was Pink Floyd and Stones are known only by "Angie" and then no wonder some stupid stories appear at the papers. Some people love the feeling they are ignored and discriminated.

The documentary started 15 min. ago. Looks great. Mick, Keith and Charlie are speaking about first concert in Poland - 1967 and second in 1998. Short history of the band is presented, interviews with some "famous" Polish people, etc.

Charlie said that he plays in the band only for money he needs to buy polish horses which are bloody expensive...
