Is ticketmaster the solution or is there a cheaper way? What's the price when you're buying in person,is it any different? Are all ticket places seating at o2 arena?
Are these London tickets more expensive than let's say tickets for Budapest concert?

If you pay cash over the counter you dont get charge a credit card processing fee or mailing costs.

yes

Hah! probably 3 times as much. Stones UK tickets are more expensive than anywhere in Europe. Even in stadiums. they insist on the UK shows being all seated even though they dont legally have to be. An excuse to stick the prices up.

thats another issue entirely, but generally its OK - Its a good sign if the seller has a very high 'positive feedback' rating

Can you ask your crystal ball, how the chances are, to get a cheap ticket on show-day outside venue?

Well, the closer to show time or once a show starts, the ticket value is depreciating rapidly from the tout/scalper's viewpoint and they just want to get rid of it and cut their losses...the buyer has the power then but you may have to sacrafice a few minutes of the show to get a cheap ticket, or maybe not if you get lucky.

I bought a Rod Stewart ticket on the day of the show the other week through ticketmaster to be collected at the venue box office and they still charged me £7.50 booking fee and a £2.50 collection fee !

If you really want to save money buy your tickets outside the Stadium about 15 minutes before showtime from a tout (scalper). They'll be giving them away.

Don't do that! Don't buy tickets in London's streets! You
will end up to 90% with fakes. I think it's even more worth
than NYC.

If you pay more than face value for the ticket, you can sometimes have a problem getting a full refund from the seller if the show is cancelled. Probably wise to ask the seller about this before buying.
