All mine have been regular mail, I can't for the life of me recall what delivery option I selected at the time of purchase.

Yes, I never thought I'd say this but they are not top of my list at the moment. The river is over its banks up the road and the water is at the kerb. Trouble is each time some b*stard drives past it creates a bowwave that comes throught the door. Having moved everything I can think of upstairs or into the newer bit of the house at the back (up two steps) I'm now at a loose end! Feels a bit like fiddling while Rome burns to post on here but there's really not much else I can do - oh I know, I'll take some photos of it. Him indoors will never believe it when he finally makes it through the floods...

I just got confirmation for the 21st and 23rd from the Stones ticket office.

Just found mine for the 21st on my doormat - in an ordinary-post window envelope with

THE
ROLLI
STON

clearly visible in the window. Maybe they should just have put a big STEAL ME sticker on instead? Anyway, nobody did, and at least they're dry. Had to drive a long way round to get home tonight because the big underpasses in Kingston town centre are flooded after the cloudburst.

Deepest sympathy and best wishes, Stargroves - I'll say a prayer for a dry night.

the tickets are duplicative ,therefore no need for recorded delivery extra charge, if the tickets are damaged or lost they can be replaced.

Shame about the underpass they should have left the Three Fishes pub there Kingston's not been the same since they knocked down that great rock pub

Yeah, got all my tickets with regular mail. The stupid thing with this sending was, that everybody could see from outside that Stones ticket are inside.

Also received 3 letters for someone 2 streets away from me so I guess better go round and drop them off.

My tickets for 21st have turned up - have to agree with others here who have said how bizarre it is that you can clearly see through the envelope window they are Stones tickets! Sent out by 'UK MAIL - BUSINESS CLASS' which is presumably a private delivery company.

i got mine for the 26th aswell.

but clearly in the window was the rolling stones.

And yes, its ridiculous, that you can clearly see

Yes they DO, they're the best looking (in souvenir terms) of all the bloody tickets from the Europe 2007 leg of the tour so far, all the others (at least those I've been to) have looked like s**t by comparison !! The tickets are one thing, lets hope the "shows" are a cut above the rest of the shows too !! (No disrespect intended towards anyone that won't be seeing them at the O2 but that saw other shows instead)

Always good to have some colourful souvenir tickets to add to the collection!

Problem: We're only home for approx 36 hours, before we set off to follow the tour again. That of course is our own fault. That we've chosen to follow most of the tour. But it is a fact that all the other European ticket companies have managed to send out the tickets just after payment's been received. The Germans were the best. Delivery two days after we ordered them. By DHL. And that was back in April. The tickets for O2 (first show) were bought on the day the sales opened, and so were O2 no. 2 and O2 no. 3. Months ago! Why does Ticketmaster UK seem to have such big problems sending out the tickets - when the others are doing just fine?

I agree that theyre absolute dickheads, Siv (have plenty of experience of that) but you'll have time enough in that 36 hrs to get them.

At least unlike previous years they havent waited until the week before the show to mail everything (Classic example being the pick-up notices for Astoria 2003 being sent out to everyone - regardless of where they lived in the world - about ten days before the gig and their staff not taking into account that pretty much everyone who had bought a ticket was going to the Twickenham gigs 4 days earlier (also sold by TM) and many wouldnt be at home on the day the notifications arrived because...they were attending Stones shows in London)
