Gottorollme did the posting tonight. I just relayed the info on to her as I was at football. Thanks to her and Lorenz for tying it up.

60,000 sell out I believe, and a very young crowd. Lorenz said it was hard to actually send text messages because they were all jumping around so much!

What a very boring safe short setlist. But I guess it didn't matter if people liked it. But it does'nt bode well for them getting creative with the setlist the rest of the tour............But on the plus side. If they're a lot of young people going to shows, than maybe it will encourage them to keep going. Then they will have to change the setlist because even the young people will be tired of the warhorses .winking smiley

B stage was origionally to play lesser played material(Sweet Virginia,Route 66, Little Queenie,Crazy Mama). Now its just a joke.

You are partially right - they should play slow and mid tempo songs on B-stage and, part where you are wrong, it is an opportunity for people that couldn;t reach front rows to see them from close distance. It is somewhat boring to stare at TV screen all the time.

Hope younger people weren't let down with a greatest hits only set list. Kind of crazy that the only surprises now are Keith's songs and a cover. At least they got to hear Rambler.

As it was an audience who had never seen them before, I would seriously doubt that.

very few western rock acts play Romania, let alone the Stones.

B stage has gone down the toilet. Just used for the warhorses they would have played anyway. Guess that's one way to shorten the setlist.

18 songs including YCAGWYW and Rambler isn't a short setlist these days.

...and I agree that warhorses are maybe the most appropriate fare for a "new" audience.

No 'tasche ....relief, back to normal......it was just too surreal for me with the baffo. But it was a hoot while it lasted.
