Good and big restaurant with big garden is on Mendlovo namesti (Mendel's square). It's 1km from the venue. Restaurant is situated in Starobrno brewery :-) Open daily from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
On Mendlovo namesti there is many bus stops and tram stops, because it's one of three biggest connection points of Brno mass transportation.

Its maybe 400 meters closer to the venue than the other place.

Whatever: but a decision within 24h from now would be a blessing for me!

Do you know anything about the parking situation around Mendlovo, Mr Ostrich?
Maybe the brewery has got a fairly large car parking?

I also believe we should supply "the masses" with
maps where one can see the surroundings, since some more
can be travellin' by car or walk by foot (see below on your body ).

or high pressure on the site. Some guy at Ticket page
sells a standing non-FOS; but you ought to get a FOS
for a decent price, with that remark people might
make up & buy now during the last week.

You checked the Ebay etc sites? Not so few Americans
decided to stay at home when the first negative reports
streamed in.

Baboon Bro, are you staying at the Juventus hotel? We're considering that one as well, but weren't too much info on their webpage.. We are driving as well (some of us all the way from Norway, but I'm just flying in to Prague). Do you know of any good parking facilities near the hotel?

No idea. No, not Juventus. - We have booked a bungalow at Kemp Olsovec.
When are you arriving? We will arrive on Saturday evening.
I sense I wont drive anything more that night, after 900
non.stop on the 21st.... But there is a cool bath place,
a lake at the camping.

The brewery hasn't got a car parking :-( The good (official) place for car parking is on Bauerova street, Krizkovskeho street, maybe on Hlinky street. Some places can be on other streets near the exhibition centre.

I'm fine with the place on the main square (Mendlova). There is supposed to be a car park at Juventus however it is unwatched.
