Probably, You'll generally find that all the "official" pics tend to be taken during one or two pre-arranged songs per show. Likewise, with TV news clips.

There are different guitars engaged so it's at least two songs. Also, last two pictures look like from B-stage - they are too close to each other.

Yeah I was right, it was a very warhorses heavy setlist with only a couple of songs that stand out from the pattern. However they can't repeat the same thing in Belgrade.Hope we'll get something like Ruby Tuesday but my guess is that we're bound to hear Angie.

I would trade Wanna Hold You for Happy of Before They Make Me Run and You Can't Always Get What You Want for Can't You Hear Me Knocking and I would be very pleased with such list. Ofcourse, it should include 19th song (nervous breakdown?!) that should be Bitch or Sway.

Gazza, I saw your estimation on attendance in Budva on Rocks off and I would say it is too optimistic. I don't believe there was more than 30,000 people, including around 1/3 from Croatia and 1/3 from Serbia. Many things I heard these days make me think that.

Yeah... Plus, Dubrovnik is close, surely there were quite a few international tourist who were on Croatian coast who decided to drop by...

Serbian television just said that attendance was 50,000 and the show lasted 2hrs and 15 minutes. Sincerely, I dont think either info is true.

This European tour has become a stellar Vegas warhorse thing since the first few shows that had some interesting choices !
I simply hate their attitude of always talking about how great it is to play Satisfaction for the zillionth time but ignoring their incredibly great catalogue for most of the time.
What happened to She Was Hot ? Sweet Virginia ? Waiting On A Friend ? Some Girls ? Heartbreaker ? and the well-rehearsed Love Is Strong ?
Or maybe even a song from this album they released in 2005, I mean something more than Rough Justice ?

Wasnt MY estimation, but I was quoting a newspaper story....30,000 for a country of 670,000 with little history of western rock acts performing there is still pretty good. Especially considering the fact it wasnt in a city and theyre playing Belgrade as well.

You were seriously expecting those songs in a place where theyve never played before and where theyre not as widely recognised as in your country or mine?

The songs you're mentioning are the ones that get changed in their slots.
they'll probably never play 'em in one show.

How can you even try to defend this Forty Licks-policy ?

Re: Budva reports

If the setlist continue to get more and more shitty, I will surely refuse to ever see them again.

Re: Budva reports

Ok - there's one song missing, 18 instead of 19 - none of my likeing.
you may prefer to rather hear one song instead the other, but I wouldn't call it the setlist is getting shitty.
Have a closer look at the previous setlists and you can see what they're up to.

Hanns has the point. These songs seem to be dropped from the setlist after few shows and the list of songs in rotation is getting smaller and smaller. On the other hand, if everyone of us make setlist for stones to play, that concert would last until late next morning.

@ Gazza: No matter if it was 30 or 50 K, it's fantastic for the country of MN and city of Budva to have same or bigger crowd than Frankfurt or Lisbon, for instance.

Next morning? Next year you should say...

Well, now the Stones are visiting "virgin" countries, so the "classic" setlists seem explainable enough to me. People in Budva haven't heard 10 times "Paint It Black" or "YCAGWYW" live, as it happens in West Europe.

as they'll probably never tour Europe again after next month, thats not exactly a massive protest, in fairness.
