Budva – Almost 14 billions of years after the Great bang Montenegro is still ready for a bigger one – the concert of the most famous band in the history of rock, of British legends “The Rolling Stones” will be held tonight on Budva beach Jaz, The opportunity to attend such a spectacle the inhabitants of Montenegro and thousands of tourists from the surrounding, whose arrival is expected must not be missed; current “A Bigger Bang” tour which since the beginning of 2005 has made record earnings according to the information of those familiar with those facts, is the last tour around the world of Rock dinosaurs who all together have 250 years.

Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronny Wood, and Carlie Watts came yesterday in Budva, and the organizers say that they have been thrilled with the reception as well as with the beauty of our country:
Jagger took the camera and video taped all the way from Tivat airport to the hotel Splendid. He asked the driver to drive slower in order for him to be able to enjoy the view. He said that he has never seen a more beautiful country – says for Vijesti Raka Maric, the owner of the company Music star that will throw a spectacle on Jaz and added that they have made a very good communication with the members of the legendary band, and the musicians also loved their accommodation and reception. The organizers are expecting tonight at least 45.000 of visitors.
- In my modest opinion there will be at least 50.000 people, and should there be more they are welcome – says Maric.
Even though we have printed about 73.000 tickets the sale which we have at the moment wouldn’t be disappointing if it is known that the concert of the Stones in European metropolis gather mostly 30 40.000 people, and that just few concerts in this year’s tours have been predicted for greater number of fans. If the expectation of the organizers are fulfilled the concert tonight will be remembered, as the most crowded event in the history of Montenegro to which the political gatherings in the period before the election cannot come even close.

The gates of the concert area will be opening at 4 p.m., and two hours later Dado Topic with his band Time will go out on the stage. Regina will start to play at 7 p.m. while the British group The Thirsty is expected to come out on the stage at 8 p.m. And the beginning of the concert of the Rolling Stones is expected to happen around 9 p.m.
The organizers are asking visitors not to come with their own car, but to use the capacity of their vehicle at maximum in order to avoid traffic jams. Free of charge parking lot in has been made in Lastva Grbaljska which has about 12.000 parking places. They have also made a smaller parking lot in Budva and on both of them there will be placed standpoints for the sale of tickets so the visitors will be able to buy the tickets on the spot. From the Adriatic fair to Lastva in return trip there will be 50 buses which will take visitors for 1,50 euros to the turning point from the highway towards Jaz, where they will also place a standpoint for pre-control of the tickets. The highway will be closed at 9 a.m. and the vehicles will be redirected to the old road over the hill Toplis. In the concert area there will be stands with refreshment drinks and souvenirs, standpoints of the ambulance and chemical toilettes. Services of police, E.R. as well as fireworks will receive the visitors maximally ready.

Concert area will be protected with the nontransparent fence, and the road towards Trsteno will be closed, and the zones of allowed staying will be clearly marked.
Around 50 yachts have asked for the approach in the bay of Jaz to whom, depending on the size will be charged between 1.000 and 2.000 euros. The organizer are expecting today another 50 yachts of which the majority is coming from Croatia. Every unauthorized attempt of docking in will be prevented by the coast guard.

I.N.L.

WOOD ALONE IN THE MERCEDES

Members of the legendary band came little bit after 6 p.m. on Tivat airport and they came to Splendid at 6:45 p.m. previously the doors of Splendid have been closed for all visitors from outside and the police officers and security were all around the hotel.
Escorted by police and security the Stones came in separate cars, while the other members came out from a van. Ronny Wood came on a back seat of a black Mercedes and through the open window one could see his ragged head. Despite the tropical heat Richards wore a coat and the inevitable hat on his head.
The arrival of rock legends from the hill across the hotel was followed though by photo reporters, mostly of foreign media who have made the “ambush” two hours before the arrival of the musicians. Wishing to make as better picture as possible, considering the fact that the approach to Splendid was forbidden, they visited all surrounding edifices but not one single owner has accepted to receive them. Some of them in order to make a good photograph went into the bushes on surrounding hills and there were also some attempts of climbing up the olive tree

STAGE AS A RESIDENTIAL BUILDING

Huge stage dominated the front part in the hinterland of the beach Jaz when the organizers have took the chosen crew of reporters in a tour of around the concert space. While Ivan Ivackovic PR manager of the Stones for southeast Europe was presenting once again the impressive dimensions and characteristics of the stage, sound system and light of which Vijesti have wrote several times already the stage on which the Stones will play for over two hours, which has the size of an average residential building, was constructed, and the workers were placing the light and the sound system. The surrounding area was taken by the cargo trucks in which the gear came, and the road from the highway towards Jaz has been asphalted and divided into three sections, of which each of them will be intended for certain category of visitors.
Organizers have shown with pride to the representatives of media the new infrastructure on Jaz which will remain there for the future big events.

- The most important thing is that we have managed to finish up everything, related to technical part, which was the most important and most difficult, in time. We have entered in almost impossible mission of arrangement of this space and two nights ago at 2 a.m. we have managed to finish up the final details – said Raka Maric to Branislav Savovic who is working in company Gugi Commerce which according to his words has done this job in a spectacular way, and gave him a painting as a gift.
- To build this in two months is fantastic and even bigger companies would fail to do the job in time – praised Maric the contractor.

Obviously the GSM system for mobile phones has broken down due to heavy traffic... I suppose Budva's not used to people from around the globe all wanting to send photos and setlists and phone up friends to let them listen - all at the same time. I refuse to believe that the improvs lasted for 70 minutes... That's so "un-stones".

I didn't notice that these 3 were played at the same concert. I thought that there is room in the setlist for only one of long numbers. You can't get what you want is good song but I like the other two better and I was thinking which one I would like to hear in Belgrade. CYHMK won only because I didn't hear it live so far.

There is the first report om Serbian portal [www.mtsmondo.com] . They gave only general information, citing that several tens of thousands of people attend the show. In the next sentence, they quote "electronic media" that attendance is 15,000. Later they added that there is no traffic jam after the concert so I assume that crowd was really not very big.
