Thanks for all the reports and updates. Made me feel very close to Madrid. Must have been another excellent show. Can't wait for the full reports.

I'm sure as Gazza said that the show was great, but had I gone to Europe and seen this show, I would have been disapointed. Monkey Man was the only song I haven't seen live in the US on this tour from this setlist compared to every other show in 2007 where it has been at least 4 songs and as high as 8 songs in the Werchter show.

The newest song on the list is Start Me Up. That's amazing.

I had a candidate for the most unwitty posting today, but this beats it.

i think it's a great set list...lots of the best rockers of all time...
no rambler or other staples and it seems like they KILLED...
the important thing (to me) is the performance, the presence...more important than the songs...yes they are brilliant songs...all over their long catalog...
point is...they're all the same few chords anyway, hahhaa...the songs and progressions themselves but an entrance, at their best performance, into the heart or rock and roll...(or as close as they can get with that bass player)...

the songs 'frameworks' providing a platform from which they can launch themselves into...when they do...and they apparently are doing with some consistency now...whoa espana, you give 'em so much love and u deserved this great show...if gazza is calling it historic, it's surely got my interest bigtime and hugely...

it's the sinngggerrrr, nottt the soonggg...
the guitar player looks restless...
the drummer thinks that he is dynamite...
you can hear the giitttarrrsss play...it will steal your heart awaaayyyy...

...and that's stupendous...they all (the actual stones) "show up at the same time" (as i like to put it,) and it's power and ecstacy beyond imagining...and they pulled it off again...this very night...i can feel the excitement on the other side of the world...
i don't miss rambler or can't you hear me knockin' ...and seemingly just tore the place up...let themselves go...hah, keith you sly ol' dog...did you go ahead and hit it real hard tonight, ya old sod??? ah how wondrous...guitars like bombs...? extended leads on satisfaction and long versions of the songs as they 'got' there and 'kept going'...whooooo....got to hear this one...

love the setlist...sure i wanna hear dance little sister and as tears go by and sfm and around and around, & my obsession and if u can't rock me...and all of banquets & aftermath...and half of bleed and about 5 from VL... and rj from the 'new' one...and certainly lmds, which they've never bothered to even perform hahaa...but who cares...not even me...let it rock...they apparently did.

It's easy to get caught up in the hype os the set list. Of course the most important part is the performance. But just sitting looking at the set lists from the last few shows and the tour in general,it sure looks like they are really changing the set up pretty well. The reviews from the last few shows have been very good. Seems like the boys are finding thier groove.

well i just arrived from the show, and i have a bittersweet feeling. All the concert was a guitar concert, with an unusually good ronny and a killer Keith but...but the keith´s set reduce me to mud, in YGTS almost fell down on stage, and in happy forgot almost half of the song, and made obvious signs of "cut the song" to the band. Also in MY and SFTD he was missed for some time in the backstage...very sad, on the other hand i will never forget how he scream to the guitar while playing JJF, screamin like devil "oh yeah baby,f*@]@]@ me, yeah baby.." and making killer chords like crazy, well, that desserves the price of the ticket...
On the other hand...not ABB, not "long song", and YCAGWYWr instead...
Highlights TD,JJF, with keith "torturing" the guitar, and monkey man with ronnie playing like an angel...
By the way Jet bores the daylights out of me...like my gisrlfriend said, it was almost the same song all the way for one hour, but the firts one openner, loquillo, really kicks ass.

At the final bow i thrown a kiss to the guys because im almost sure that is the last time, but who knows...

As i previously said...bittersweet

That sounds quite alarming, what on earth happend

keith did the "knee thing" near ronnie, and when try to get up he simply fall back and did some arm movement to get the equilibrium. But i swear on my mom that in that 2 seconds the world (my world) stopped. I can remember that charlie felt the same, by his face..
Also in happy, always missed the first verse, misscued...and then miss you started without him...
But as i said, JJF was something i never saw, keith throwing chord, and screaming in font of stage (i was in the first rows).
I also forgot to mention Mick, i was a Keith fannatic, but i have to admit that Mick now does the show...
Its 2 in the evening here, i took a shower, and im still thinking about the whole thing...
ADTL, SWAY, oh my god...I mean OH MY GOD
