You'd be surprised now Frank (and maybe the bongster, don't know) anyway, Downtown is like Beal St in Memphis (or the big one in Austin they turn into a walking street on weekends) there's clubs and bars and music EVERYWHERE !! Went down last year to see a friend graduate from USD and could not believe what they've done to downtown (we all went down to celebrate the graduation) - PLACE WAS ROCKIN' !! (only problemo is there's cops EVERYWHERE - best to get a hotel room if one's been drinking) TOTAL Transformaton, it was really amazing....(lotta nice Senorita's all over the place that make's it even more of a ROCKIN' area)

The race track in San Diego is pretty cool.......If ya into the pony's. Supposedly nice beaches too. But I haven't made it past the track in my visits down there.

..... you must be referrin' to del mars race track (next to the sea),, which is north of sd by quit aways ..... ... up here in LA, were thinkin of slicing off san diego and feedin it to mexico...........

Well I only lived in a few California cities but imo San Diego was by far the best. Long Beach was a dump compared to San Diego.
