I know them from the early 90's (91-96)...I love their early stuff....They would open for friends of mine and then vice versa, when they came up to San Francisco.

Very nice people, I'm glad they made it big, I never doubted they would. Gwen was very humble back then and I'm sure she still is.

One song I'll never forget them doing was, Sad For Me...I was mesmerized in how Gwen handled the song as well as the crowd. I had some great times in the early to mid 90's in San Fran....a magical time with lots of good music.

no doubt was a cool band but I dont like the solo stuff Gwen does. theyre not even songs, they're like cheers. that a cheerleading squad does. Is not music.

I was listening to It's My Life today and was thinking how damn good that tune is despite its commercial Britney Spears-like feel. The Great Escape was an amazing album. And I heard they're getting back into the studio now... hopefully for some good stuff.

Saw 'em open for The Stones in Atlanta 2002 - very energetic live act. Gwen was a good front woman. I like "Hella Good" and a few others.

That said, I was glad when they finished so the boys could play.

ryan, it was one of the early hits - maybe something about a girl (Just A Girl)?

I really don't know a lot of their stuff. My 11 year old (at the time 2002) was really impressed.

No Doubt is a good live band, I've seen them in 1997 in a good concert. It was to the time as they had their 1st hit "Don't Speak".

They should perform in a small club, than the concert was sold out and was moved into a hall with about 2000 people, this hall was also sold out and finally was moved in a hall with 7000 people. It happened never before and never after, that a concert was 2x moved in different venues because of big success. And the ticketprices became from hall to hall more and more expensive. My luck was, I had a ticket for the club show and saved about 10 Euro.

I have my doubts about NO DOUBT.... The NEW GWEN STEPHANI sucks big time and despite great ass and legs the live DVD is crap..... I hate that street shit she does, she's from ORANGE COUNTY, America's giant Babysitter... Street - PLEASE !!!

I love No Doubt, and Gwen's first solo album. The 2nd one has good good songs, but was a bit of a disappointment comaared to the 1st one. I do have all of No Doubt's albums, plus the boxset, and Gwen's DVD. Gwen is gorgeous!!

I saw No Doubt open for the Stones in Atlanta also. Do you guys remember when Gwen was kinda frustrated with the crowd? We weren't cheering enough I guess. She said something at the top of her lungs like" We're here to warm you up for the Stones!!!!" or something like that. Then dropped the F-bomb.

I couldn't wait for No Doubt to get off the stage, but thinking back a few days later, I enjoyed their show.
