It's Only Rock'n Roll (But I Like It).

You Can't Always Get What You Want.

As I do not speak a word of spanish, can this phrase be translated :

Great series of pics, thanks arizojp.

Keith looks much better than when starting this leg of the tour.

And Mick, of course, looks younger than ever. How does he do that?

My thoughts exactly - Keef is indeed looking better with each show. So, he probably just had a bad case of the flu at the beginning of the tour. (Imagine if they had cancelled?)

As for Mr. Jagger......ever hear of the crossroads at midnight, deals with the Devil and such.....It must be something like that! ;-)

I was there (my second RS concert) and I enjoy it a lot. We were 5 friends, 3 of them had seen the stones before and the other 2 not being one of them a rock music fan and the other also but not too much (do you understand anything of what I'm saying?) Well, the thing is that we all were blown (positively).
I had some preferences as MR instead of CYHMK and maybe Bitch, Under my thumb or Rocks Off or Little T&A.
Anyway I know that in a RS concert LOTS of good song are not going to be played.

I see the guys in good shape. Visually Keith is the most affected by the "time" but he played very well for me. During Sympathy the solos were average but then he put some more, even I think during mick singing, but I was like DO IT MAN.
In this song he also did a guitar trick that he doesn't do everyshow, I don't know how to call it but is like fast picking during one of the solos, as in the Steel Wheels IMAX video or in the video of Sympathy for the Loop in RS.com, do you know what I mean? In conclusion, I saw him inspired.
Then on other Keith key songs such as IORR or Satisfaction he play top too.

Finally, I didn't notice big obvious mistakes like in some videos in youtube of the other shows... BS intro was fine (not in Werchter), PIB I think so, Start me up too (not in Paris), ...

I've been focusing on keith because having reading some threads in this forum I was a little bit nervous, you know? In conclusion: Keep on rocking keef!

Then, the rest of the show very enjoyable. I was having this double satisfaction of enjoying myself and seeing that my 4 friends were enjoying the show too (especially the 2 of them who hadn't seen the stones in concert before).

The crowd were FANTASTIC, the spanish crowd is well know as a nice crowd and basque people nothing diferent: hot hot hot. Several OE OE OE's, continious clapping, screaming, singing...ok I was a little bit bourboned too but it was really wonderful and the band noticed it, especially ronnie and keith I would say. Keith ovation was expectacular. Big ovations for Bobby and Lisa too winking smiley

Maybe the almost only negative thing for me was not hearing Midnight Rambler, I was dying for that one, but CYHMK was very well done.

I don't have any recording, just some photos and one video during JJF with my mobile, but very bad quality so I think they don't deserve to be posted...

excuse my wonderful english winking smiley

I have heard the theory that Mick has one of those Dorian Gray pictures in his attic - and Keith is the picture...

Great photos of the crowd having a blast!

I forgot, Keith played one song with the Dan Armstrong acrylic guitar (??)(the transparent one) and then Ronnie took that guitar too. I haven't seen that guitar in a long time, but I don't have any idea. Does Keith use it normally?
