Well, in fairness, one wouldn't really have to know who Miss U was to get the main idea. it would be easdy to figure out that you were talking about someone who used to come here wifout knowing who they were because of the context.

Brian Jones may have written songs, I'm sure he tried to as he was surrounded by song writers, but he was not known as a "prolific" songwriter.

He was a musician and a pop star, no doubt there.

brainer: are you expressing incredulity at the fact that J/R wrote the vast majority of great Stones material from the '60s? The only other Stone with a catalog of strong original material is Ron Wood, who is also the only one to get several credits with J/R. Taylor got one on Ventilator, of course, tho probably deserved a couple more - but his songwriting post-Stones has produced maybe 2 or 3 good 'songs'. Bill had two released by the RS, & I like some of Wymans's first two solo albums, but the material is so different in tone from most Stones songs (Short & Curlies might be an exception) that it's hard to imagine it performed by the Stones. BUT let's not forget Nanker Phelge as a band credit from the 60s, to which Brian and/or Bill likely made contributions.

In a more ideal world, a lot of songs would have Jagger-Richards-Jones

and jagger-richars-jones-wyman writing credits. I guess thats what those early Nanker Phelge songs were.

yes indeed...

I think brian contributed to a lot of songs w/o getting credit.

but back to the original post, I think whats been said is not that he never wrote on his own, but that the stuff he did write just wasn't origional enough sounding to put on a record.

So, following your reasoning, we could be debating chemtrails, UFO's and crop circles for that matter. It doesn't matter if it's real or really exist!

You clearly copied and pasted all your lines, so why the rant?

O.k. Name ONE producer, musician, engineer whom heard one song written by Brian. Name just ONE.

Miss U., is that you again?

What a total and utter bollocks. Did you listen to it? Is it available? No, it isn't.

Dave Mason does play on it, it has been verified by many people, including Dave Mason.

Yeah I noticed that Elmo and I must say I was impressed by your detective skills (or would that be "detecting" skills?). But anyway, I thought there was something fishy about the whole thing when this person made it a point to tell us "no I'm new to this forum"........

case closed...you're proven 'guilty'...see some posts above....

Of course not. But unless you name one person in the whole wide word who actually heard the song you're talking about a phantom.

And quite rightly so, see above...you're guilty!

Probably he nicked it from Little Red Rooster...slow, blues, slide, acoustic guitars...or maybe you nicked your imagination of how it sounds from LRR...?

Apart from that, where does your rude language com from? Guess you're out on bail (or probably not, which would explain those different IP adresses!).
