According to Gazza, Keef really on form tonight - that's what we have all been waiting to hear.

Re: Lyon reports

Europe 2007 is now up to 39 different songs with the songs added tonight.

The A Bigger Bang tour as a whole is up to 79 different songs played, making it the Stones tour with the most different songs played. That is 1 more than was played on the Licks tour and 3 more than on the Bridges/No Security tour.

that's some neat info, thanks Halup.

...and to add - Lyon was the 122nd show of the Bigger Bang Tour.

yeah - aside from the three theater shows i've been to - i'd rate that one up there with just about any other from the modern era - you gotta have "drama" and when you're playing 3 debuts of classic tunes, you are not lacking for drama....

Quick report on the phone from a friend - Wonderful show, Keith was very good tonight, leading the rest of the band who in turn were more comfortable, less stressed than in Paris. The songs from Let It Bleed were such a treat and Midnight Rambler very good. Many fans got emotional on Silver.

I must add that the same person was rather disappointed after the show in Paris.

From our friends at RO

"Pauly "God was in Lyon tonight"

Beast - "Keith is THE man of tonight. Really, really on form"

Well, then Lyon must have been real good if your friend was disappointed about Paris, because that wasn't bad at all.
that's my perspective of course, after being buggered with the lousy Frankfurt show.
hope some nice bootz come up.
