The Lisbon show is a must because the portuguese Fado singer is very very good, she has an excelente voice, and is quite gorgeous as well!!!

The Tim Ries Project will be accompanied by two portuguese guitar players. It will be a great gig!!!

It's a pity not to have a show in Paris, we have many nice jazz clubs that would have been absolutely perfect

Great news

Great news.

Correct name for the venue in Barcelona is "La Cova del Drac", though its current name is also "JazzRoom".

Websites:

Anyway, I think nothing's listed probably because nowadays this club holds concerts only when someone rents it for this purpose. Usually it runs just as a night bar-club-disco.

Maybe tickets can only be aquired through that phone number.

Hope this helps.

Salut

Yep, what an evening - to witness Bernard sing ´Fool To Cry´ and ´Ruby Tuesday´ (amongst others) with such passion and soul in such a small venue was wonderous. Do not miss this gig if they are in a town near you!

Agreed - and LQ is right about HTW. It's a song I can do without but the jazzy version is great!

The Rolling Stones Project in Lisbon - Cinema São Jorge

They played Satisfaction, HTW (with Bernard), Wild Horses (with Bernard and Tim Ries' daugther), Paint it Black and then invited Ana Moura who sang three fados, including one with music written by Tim Ries, No Expectations (also with Tim Ries' daughter) and Brown Sugar (a version with a funny portuguese flavour coming from the acoustic guitars used to play fado, and Ana singing with Bernard). The show ended with Ruby Tuesday (with Bernard).

It was really nice to watch the musicians we are used to see in the big stadiums. Bernard has a fantastic voice and his body talks in a very enjoyable way. Twenty years with Stones, said Tim Ries (since 1987? He began with Mick, I think.)

Good show.

Yes, she is about 12/13 years old. I think she's taking singing lessons because she has a classic style (chorus soprano type).

<------- I will be there! Thanks for the info and recommendation.
I already changed my holiday to start one day earlier than planned. In the website of Lasipalatsi they announce ticket for free(!), is it possible? Are there any Finnish here, who knows anything of the system? Tickets will be given 15th July
