>> When it's just a Stones show I agree. Though Solomon Burke is great on Flicks. ...
HOWEVER - I think the IOW is a bit different to a normal gig so it's not so bad. <<

my sentiments exactly regarding the poxy duets -
it's great when it's one of the people they grew up listening to,
really unnecessary most other times, but at a show like this -
and hell, Love In Vain!?! like i said: go Paolo go!
and i bet the number with Amy was *hot*

>> why have they got to figure out what songs theyre allowed to play? <<

because they need the Stones' permission - "figure out" is a euphemism for "find out"

>> The stage cam sucks big, it shows the stage ... from a mile or 2. <<

you don't have to look at it ...

Probably they will choose the songs after the show themselves,
so no songs with big mistakes go out in the air !

? how about CARAMBA ?

They were NEVER going to broadcast this concert live. Maybe your expectation levels are too high. There are about 20 acts on the bill, so theyre going to have to cover pretty much all of them.

I think it will be 16 or 17 songs. Because it's a festival they keep it short.

Cheers,
