probably cancelled, as per previous info. Not that rs.com can be expected to tell us the obvious.

165 Polnischer Zloty = 44.01725 Euro
165 Euro (EUR) = 618.507 Polnischer Zloty (PLZ)

Looks good so far...

How much will FOS be?

Me too ! We'll all have to sing Happy Birthday to Mick. It's so hard to believe that he'll be 64 and all 4 of them'll be over 60 by the time th tour gets underway. I'm taking my parents to see them at the Stade de France for their 1st ever gig - my dad's 3 months younger than Charlie & my mum's a year younger. Both retired 5 years ago & I'm going to ask them if they could still work and do what the band do for a living.

"Milo byc snowy w Polsce"

Mick Jagger 14.8.1998 Chorzow (was at that gig too)

FOS will probably be 315 PLN which is about 80 EUR at the moment. They mentioned that price somewhere in the announcement so I think it is FOS. 1015 PLN is for so called VIP section which they will probably put on the sides of the field just like in Brno and like they were supposed to do last year.

The prices for the field are bordering on reasonable by West European standards but truly ludicrous for Poland. My many Polish friends will be put off by those prices and unless many foreigners travel in for the gig they don't stand a chance in hell of selling 60,000 tickets at those prices.

Will still almost certainly go myself though - still luv 'em the greedy sods !

If 315 PLN is for FOS tickets that means they'll be 50% more expensive than last year (210 PLN for Warsaw in 2006). Did ticket prices for other European shows grew so much too comparing to prices in 2006?

>> Did ticket prices for other European shows grew so much too comparing to prices in 2006? <<

in Brno they're cheaper this year than last year.
there are stands at Sluzewiec, right? so maybe 315 is for non-VIP seating?
it does seem like a lot for (standing) FOS, compared with last year and compared with Brno.
of course, last year was supposed to be a field show with a capacity of 100 000 and a different promoter, so ...
so we'll see, i reckon.

I've just received the seating plan from the Polish promotor and I'm a bit confused. Accordig to the plan there are following sectors:

VIP (tribune) - 1015 PLN
2 seating tribunes (left and rigt) - 315 PLN
'A' sector (FOS - GA standing tickets) - left and right - 415 PLN!!!!
'B' sector (left and right) - for some reason left sector is for 215 PLN and right for 265 PLN.
and 'C' sector - 165 PLN.

I have no idea why they charge 415 for FOS and why 'B' right sector is more expensive than 'B' left sector.

mercy - that is pretty stunning!
can you post the seating chart, please and thank you?

Here's the plan. All tickets except for tribunes are standing.

thank you - i'm still stunned.
good way to make sure the FOS area stays pretty empty!
i wonder where the b-stage fits into that picture

They seem to have exchanged prices with Brno. And I think they will have trouble selling for those prices

well, i'm so stunned i wrote to VivaArt to point out that especially since the concert's been announced so late,
after folks have already invested in tickets elsewhere, it really doesn't seem reasonable even by Stones Inc standards
to charge that much for FOS that's not even reserved. writing of course may not help -
but since not writing doesn't do any good, here's their contact form: [www.vivaart.com.pl]

i also asked them to clarify where the b-stage will be. if more people ask maybe they'll grasp that that's important ...

They sure as hell will. Prices are way too high! FOS Tickets for Brno are 50% cheaper than Warsaw.
