I'm very excited about the upcoming E-Street Band tour Erik. In my book Bruce runs a very "respectable" second to our boys. Altough he is taking a page out of the Stones book. Taking his sweet time announcing the tour.

are you gunna go? I saw the boss twice on the tour in 99-00 when the E street band re united. with a friend of mine whos as big of a bruce freak as I am a stones freak.
He puts on a really good show. lots of good songs, fun music, and it rocks!
I never saw him do DITD though. They didnt start doing that one again till subsequent tours. I did see BTR though.

Oh yeah I'm going. I'm almost as big a Bruce freak as I am a stones freak. I have'nt seen him since the '99 tour either. The rumoured date for Oakland is Oct.26th at the arena.
Listening to Montrose's version of Connection...... I love this version.

hmmm.. interesting... I may think about going to see that.. possibly I dont know depends on how much $$$.
YOUR SATURDAY IS FREE Just in case you're on pins and needles: there won't be a tour announcement this week. Which means you won't need to be doing the Ticketmaster Shuffle this weekend (despite previous indications of an 8/25 onsale). Now, next week... that might be a different story. More here as we know it, but for now you can breathe easy. -August 22, 2007
Here's the latest from Backstreets Ryan. Reading on after that, they seem to think that the Oct.26th Oakland date is pretty solid. Plus there is nothing else happening at the arena then and it's a Fri. night. Ticket prices will probably range from $50 - $100. About average for an act like that. Maybe even a bargain considering it's Bruce.
Meantime I'm listening to Lazy. Live Deep Purple from Japan.
