ho ho Rockman...never heard of sparkle moore but she's such a stunner; went to her myspace page and listened 'rock a bop' and another...pretty strong stuff... cannot believe the clean production; everything instrument so present and dimensional; can't believe the mix...puts the digital endless overdub eras to shame...thanx for her dude...she musta been hotter than pj harvey in her day and every bit as funky wild into her own thing.
(saw a docu on some of these old rockabilly gals who were still alive and could rock a bit in a special filmed docu concert)... from a few, or several years ago)...dunno if she's alive or dead or still active...but she really rocked it and yeah she's gorgeous...she's the real rockabilly deal if she cuttin' stuff this strong in '56 and '57. what a trip.

how about Jewel, Janet Jackson is nice on the eyes, christina arguliera makes my cherry pop, norah jones, saw her a couple weeks ago in concert highly recommended

joan jett is a champion; i saw her live many years ago in a bar off rt. 46 somewhere around parsippany new jersey...with the blackhearts...a real road dog...she'd had some hits and big exposure and was rollin' thru this little off the wall stop;no press; no big scene...just rockers and drinkers...she rocked every song with tremendous intensity and was so accessible and friendly and just nice and sweetly present with anyyone in the bar after the show...very hip and zero pretense...the girl's a real winner imo...worked hard thru a hot set of dirty stunners...no critics or fanfare or anything in it for her except to let it loose...a genuine rocker.

Cant believe no one has mentioned Prince's harem of proteges and chicks in his bands down the years...
