When I was growing up in LA, the radio was all about the Beatles and the Stones. The "cool" kids, or so we thought, loved the Stones and a major saying was "Stones Rule!" It drove Beatles fans nuts.
When a couple of years ago I needed to change email addreses, this became one of my new ones. My computer tech was as surprised as I was that it hadn't been taken. One of my alternative choices was "Shalala" which was not available.
I have four first (four f i r s t?) names starting with J and J and H and the last, the real first name is Michael. Known as a Stones fan I was called...

rlngstns...20 years ago, when i moved from toronto to NYC i bot a car my first week here...i wanted a license plate with a rolling stones combination in it...i came up with about 25 different combinations....this was the only one that was free....RLNGSTNS.....
I live in NY State as well and I wanted STONES for my license plate, which was taken, so I had to go with STONES62. You can look for it at any given show in the Northeast when they tour because I always take my gas-guzzlin Dodge Ram to the shows to show off that plate!!
very cool....mine is the black mustang always parked at the outdoor shows....i remember the woman on the phone telling me "it's taken, next" it's taken, next....finally got one....voodoolounge13 are you heading across the pond this summer?
Rlngstns, Unfortunately, no I am not. Went over last year, and would give anything to get to go back this year. Positively absolutely fell in love with London and all it had to offer (Paris was a different story - sorry to all the French people on here, but I'd been told time and time again how sorry I'd be to not be spending more time in Paris, and after being in London for 4 days, I thought Paris must really be something to top this, but you know, it just paled by comparison IMO). Tried VERY hard to convince the Mrs to go back to London, but since last year, and the year before, caused us to divert so much of our spare money away from home improvement projects while I could follow the boys around, I've now been forced to admit that we must get some things done around the house. Sometimes ya just gotta give in to the wife for the good of all. LOL
Mine came from the childhood nickname for my real name "andrea", with an "ee" spelling for online, with other spellings already taken. Then I changed one letter from that to transform it to a typical Stones-related girl' name, hence, "angee". Clear as dirt, eh?
I hear ya...that's too bad, but as always i'm hoping that they have enough left in them or have still the interest to keep on going and bring it back to N.A. again...always a chance...i usually take the last two weeks of august off so the U.K. shows work perfectly..And i know about giving in, it's happened many times over the years. I went to see the Galsgow/Sheffield/Cardiff shows last year and splurged with the fanasylum tix for the cardiff show and it was awesome {especially since they put you in the first 8 rows} ....London will be interesting, hopefully {for me} with a new set-list
