Yep, they certainly know how to party with the best possible rock around. My first gig was Gothenburg 1990 and as far as I remember, it was the wildest audience I ever was in, after that I´ve experienced only 1/5 of the audience here in Finland goes REALLY wild..
Usher Hall, Eddinburry, SKÅATLAND* Sep 19, 1964... My guess.
In Bill's book Rolling... , my copy, p 149 (above the tour map), it says: 1963" in the headline, but thats where the correcture-process must have collpased, since it must be 64, if ya follow the chronloogy.. Any 2nd opinion there..?

Ridiculous! You are so prejudice! Maybe you are secretly craving nachos. Both times I saw the Stones in Detroit not a soul sat for the entire show! Just listen to boots from '78 and Jagger himself said "we never really got it on until Detroit" Yeah, Just My Imagination from Detroit '78 is incredible! Go to Wolfgang's and listen to the Detroit show.
Any time you're hot and sweaty, and the band is just a few feet away blasting out ____________________________ (fill in the blank with your favorite), that's the best audience!
whitem8 when they go on world tour in 2009 i will check detroit and i will see if you are right but i am sure i will be next to some guys with nachos pepsi max and quite a lot of arse

You should have been at Anaheim '78 or even San Diego '81...No seating on the field, just Rock & Roll
I really like the member of the audience that climbs the stage to meet Keith in the very very well know youtube fragment Don't Mess With Keith Richards... He's given me many merry moments.
