Does anyone have any comments on this....please...

Dont know if I have a floor (pitch) seat or not.

There are Kenttä (pitch) A2 and just A2 which are stadium seats.
In my confirmation e-mail has been printed Pitch A4. (I belive we are spoken pitch seats so far.)

My confirmation from RS fan package says Section A-2 only....no kentta.
I thought it was A-2 kentta (pitch) when I bought it on MOnday.

This morning I bought another ticket thru the public sale and it shows A-4 kentta on my confirmation... Which i assume is the pitch (floor seat).

Thanks so much.... I got screwed by RS.com fan package on the first ticket; but what else is new. I should have known better. (it cost more than double the public sale ticket).

I find it hard to believe you would have got A2 row 11 Grandstand seats in the pre-sale. They are so far away from the stage. My guess is you did get pitch tickets - all the pre-sale pitch seats seem to be around A blocks rows 11 - 14.

Dont really know.... Only says Section A-2 no mention of anything else and when i call them on the phone, they dont know if it is on the floor or the stadium seat. (for hot seat package)

Two more days to go!

The pattern of improvement towards the end of the tour seems obvious. Looks like we`re gonna get a hell of a R´R show a day after tomorrow in Helsinki! The oiled machine`s gonna do it again.. I´ve been witnessing the start of VL tour (The second gig to be exact), and the riffs, well, they were lame and pale. It was quite the opposite during BtB and 40L, the whole band was on fire.. I really can feel the excitement, and it´s growing..

Hope to see you guys before/ after the concert? Just looked the suggestion of this site; Oluthuone William K. Mannerheimintie seems a cool place.

How about that??

Hi G!

Nice to hear from you! Yes, I`ll attend the Tim Ries RS Project gig in Lasipalatsi. I´ll arrive straight after work, take my stuff to our hotel (coming with my wife) and rush to the concert.

Are you gonna wear IORR t-shirt or perhaps Arsenal? Isn`t your nickname from the fans of the team?
I don´t have a IORR t-shirt (blushing), but I will try to catch you for a beer..

BTW. I ordered Bernard`s solo cd from CD.COM. It should arrive today. I think I´ll try to get his autograph to the cover of it after the gig.

William K? I might drop in there. =) Don´t remember what time they are gonna let people in the stadium though. I want to avoid queuing and get in in time for the opening act, even if the pitch is an all-seater.

Yes, I'm wearing IORR -shirt, I also have a few Arsenal shirts, but this week is consecrated to Rolling Stones!
Tim Ries will start at 9pm, I will be there at 8 o'clock, maybe before...
I'll take "Tim Ries RS Project" cd-cover with me and hope to get Tims and Bernards autograps on it. Let's see... Should be great night!!!

OK,

I´ll be wearing the Bergen event tee (Norwegian flag tongue). Might get to William K around 4 PM.

I too managed to get a ticket for Tim Ries, so see you there tomorrow - though I don´t know yet whether to just wear a t-shirt to a jazz gig. Kinda doesn´t feel right winking smiley

Are the Stones arriving in Helsinki today?

I don´t know the arrival date.

So, see you both at Tim Ries!

Few days to go and at the moment it shows that it will be partly cloudy and rain. NOOOOOOO!!!!!
At least we´ll have a near sold out show and hopefully LOUD & Jumpin 35,000 fans.

Gothenburg is sold out, by the way=)

You can propably catch the boys from Kämp hotel soon...

If I understood it correctly, it`ll be a rainy day, but in the evening clouds will disappear.. Wishful thinking?

Re: Helsinki

That´s what I saw in the forecast yesterday. The rainy clouds should be northbound and pass Helsinki so that it will indeed rain on Wednesday morning but not anymore in the afternoon/evening.

It´s this stupid, almost stormy, wind, which worries me a little. Even though according to weather forecast it´ll be much easier tomorrow. Olympic Stadium has always been unpleasant place for athletes and these major artists, cause the wind is usually very compulsive (rotates suddenly to opposite direction).

Hope those additional roofs, which were made 2005, makes the job of sound engineers easier.. in other words gimmie, gimmie SHELTER!!!

They say that the show will kick off at 8:00 pm, so be prepared. When Genesis played this summer they actually kicked off precise 8:00 and I could see people still walking calmly to the stadium not knowing the concert had begun.

Don´t no about the stones, hopefully it´ll start later when the sun is down.

According to hs.fi site the weather should be sunny on the evening of the show!!!!!
+18c as well.

Re: Helsinki

I don´t think they will start before 9 PM under any circumstances. They want to hold out for as long as possible for the pyros to have any effect. Still, being in Finland, you can bet that the effect of the intro pyros will be missed. Maybe it gets better towards Sympathy.

Last time around, the curfew was around 11 PM, but it was supposedly a soft curfew. They exceeded it for about ten minutes.

Showtime was 9:10pm - 11:10pm but that was on a sunny day in July, so maybe a little bit earlier this time, on a rainy/cloudy night in August?

Here´s hoping for She Was Hot...
