Not irritating, but a very funny quote from Bob Dylan at a gig sometime in the nineties. The bass player obviously has big problems in following the chord changes and eventually Dylan tires, stops playing and says this to the audience while staring at the poor bassist.
"We rehearsed this a hundred times, maybe I get rid of him".
Right on, Bob!

He's been with him since 1989, so maybe he was kidding!

I was at this show called the bridge school benifit and when REM was onstage, I thought their banter was annoying. Michael stype was giving somone in the audinece S for taking on their cell phone. I thought it was really condescending.

Hi Sweetcharmed. I know that VH recorded the Oakland shows from 1981. Unfortunately no live album came out but they did release some live videos from the show, including Unchained and So This Is Love.

Hi Sweet Neo. When I saw Springsteen in Vancouver on the Born in the USA tour, he actually stopped the show because people rushed to the front during the opening song, which was Born In The USA. Told people to go back to their actual seats!
Regarding the Dancing In The Dark vid, that was from one of the first shows of the tour in Minnesota. Courtney Cox was basically an unknown model/actress who was hired for the shoot. I believe that they got the crowd to stick around after the actual concert to film the video which they lip synched to.
Capatulted Bruce from being a star to a huge celebrity. Video got huge airplay on MTV.
