My list is not much different, but I will only select tunes I have SEEN, HEARD, and FELT because I was there.
1. Midnight Rambler- without question the most exciting number they do live.
2. Jumpin' Jack Flash-they may play it every night, but no show is complete without it.
3. Out of Control- Besides rambler, the best live performance of any song in the last ten, maybe twenty years.
4. Gimme Shelter- Haunting riff. May have been performed better with MT, but Lisa's solo is chilling as well.
5. Start Me Up- may be tired, but undoubtedly gets everyone off their seat. Was great on the b-stage last year as a nice changeup, but is also a great opener.
6. Sympathy for the Devil- Also tired, but usually great theater.
7. Street Fighting Man- great jam and was great as an opener for the arena shows on the licks tour.
8. Monkey Man- Killer solo from Lisa on the VL tour and great jam on the licks tour.
9. All Down the Line- Much better live with MT, but great song for the true fans and the purists.
10.tie Bitch- Once again, better with MT, but has sounded really good on the ABB tour as well as the NS Tour.
10 tie- Paint It, Black- Killer intro and what a crescendo at the end, but Keith messes this one up as he does with Brown Sugar too often to be ranked higher.
Others that just missed the cut IMHO: Live With Me, Respectable, Shattered, Angie, Ruby Tuesday, You Can't Always Get What You Want
Warhorses that didn't make it: Brown Sugar, Honky Tonk Women, Satisfaction, Miss You
Warhorses that need to be retired: Tumbling Dice, It's Only Rock 'N Roll
Nuggets that just didn't work live: Moonlight Mile(my favorite surprise from NS shows, but it paled to the studio version), Can't You Hear Me Knocking (noble effort Ronnie, but not the original)
Nuggets that worked well on the ABB tour (please play more): She Was Hot, She's So Cold, Sway, Loving Cup.
