Check out "Cherry Oh Baby"and "Angie" from 6/27/1975 MSG NY

Both songs run back to back and both rock. Cherry O Baby is first and sounds like the band put in a complete effort into making it work. Some great weaving here. Mick even admits they don't know how to end it. What a gem. Next up is Angie and brother it has a Goats Head Soup sound plus a little Hammond solo in the middle. Great guitar work and solid singing by Mick with lots of passion.

Once you play them you will be playing both songs all day. But play it loud man. Two songs you would love to hear on a B-stage.

Wild Horses is up next and that holds it own as well. Mick even goofs around acting like a walk around vendor yelling "hot dogs, tee shirts, programs...
This is a great little set.

Love that version of Cherry Oh Baby. Has a better 'swing' than the studio version, too. One of my favourite performances from that mid 70's era

I agree about "Cherry". Swing is the right word. It does the song justice. The B&B version is so stilted. It has no groove.

"...no longer shall you trudge 'cross my peaceful mind."

Just like Hey Negrita, it has too be done live by a stoned Jagger to get the right feel.

Yes Erik, that is true. I mean it, some of their songs work fine with Mick stoned; IYCRM is another.
