The dude Mitchell replaced (Jeff Brown) is in Ottawa working for another station. He's still up to his old tricks. When Stompin Tom Connors was not invited to play at the Canadian version of the new Live Aid a while back he played Stompin Tom for three hours straight and got himself suspended. He was ten times better than Mitchell. Craig and Derringer had a falling out over his airtime and role on the show. He's at another radio staition as well I believe.

Dan Akroyd, John Candy, Rick Moranis, Martin Short.....pretty much the entire original cast of the Second City troupe.....did anyone mention the Toronto Bluejays?

Jeff Brown and Carly Classin (thats how it sounds) would kind of joke around alot. Brown had the really strong accent too as I remember. I sensed that his late arrivals and little criticisms were a prelude to his leaving and unhappiness. I think that Derringer did not like him and practically said so on the air without mentioning his name. I thought the Craig and Derringer were a solid team and was very surprised to see him leave. On the other hand when Derringer was on vacation (one of many) whenever Craig filled in the big chair I did not think him to be a featured DJ. He is weak on his own. Much better as a sidekick or second man.
Remember when they did the 911 traffic reports? Man she sounded hot on the radio. I think I broke out in a sweat quite often. Saw her up close a few times and wasn't nearly as sexy as on the radio. You are dead on about Craig, he was awful filling in for Derringer. Did you notice the other dude left the morning show (Rosco) because he and Derringer could not get along? No one can stand him except his brother who is there now. I wrote him a letter once and he was very condescending in his response. Arrogant prick just wanted to emphasize how much money he made and therefore paid more taxes than me.
Well it looks like we have a strong west coast presence from vancouver, the island to the sunshine coast here. I'll add another to Campbell River along with Altimont69.

I live just outside Saint John, New Brunswick, about 1.5 hours drive from the USA border. I was born near Montreal and have lived out west in Edmonton. I've seen the Stones in Toronto (1975 and 2003) and in Halifax (2006). I missed the Moncton concert (2005) - it was just an hour and a half away but I spent that day in the hospital with a surprise kidney stone attack. But all ended well - I wrote a story about it that was published in the provincial paper. Michael Cohl liked it and gave me a back-stage pass to the Rattlesnake Inn in Halifax. I met him, Chuck, Alice Cooper, etc there.
