How long did he play? Does he still use local musicians? Man, the guy is 80 and still touring. How the hell does he do it?

He's doing it to inspire Keith to continue.

You need two flights to Istanbul from Belfast, too.

Whoever planned that itinerary for anyone, let alone an 80 year old man, should be taken out and shot.

They're trying to kill him.

That trip is the horror, even if you only had to test the hotel beds for a night.

but Chuck is gigging every night, in another city.

well.its doable for the western Europe bit as some of the places are close together as can be seen on that map. But its the order hes playing them in.

Belfast - Istanbul - Paris on successive nights (and I think he was playing in St Louis just about 3-4 nights ago) is utter lunacy.

I couldn't agree more

Does he still do the duck-walk routine? A friend of mine saw him 10 years ago and said he could hardly play the guitar anymore. It was like going to a museum, he said.

"Having seen Berry perform numerous times, it appears that his renowned unpredictability has indeed become predictable, and he continued with this unprofessional and fragmented approach, totally ruining his first few numbers."

Yes, I'd go along with that. I've seen him a few times over the years and it does actually get a bit painful to watch; he ALWAYS seems to have to be giving shit to SOMEBODY for SOMETHING or other. He's a moody bastard, and unfortunately (at least for me) he has exhibited that moodiness, much to the detriment of the show, on virtually every single occasion that I've seen him. After a while you just have enough of it. I'm extremely tempted to see him on this tour, because realistically .......... will there be another opportunity ? But having just read this review from the FIRST bloody night, I'm really wondering if I should bother. It's a shame, because he is SO talented and SO good, but he just does have this attitude prob that f****s it up time and time again.
