Rick Wakeman (Hall for Cornwall)then the Straits (Hammersmith) and Joe Bonamassa (Plymouth Pavilions). Saw Chicago and Steve Martin & the Steep Canyon Rangers, both at Hammersmith, last week. Steve Martin's bluegrass is fantastic & he gave a great performance.

Frampton was wild last night in Baltimore on the harbor. Played for 3 hours and 30 minutes with a 20 minute intermission. THREE HOURS TEN

First set was the Comes Alive album. Second set was a lot of instrumentals. He just ripped. He still gets to the women - had one come up to me and say 'kiss me'. I sez 'alright'. I kiss her and then she says 'kiss me again'. I know I'm in trouble now. We hooked up after he played While My Guitar Gently Weeps for the encore to my place after we convinced her friends I'd take care of her.

Dude it was like the old days, but not just because he played the album in its entirety, but he played so long that it he was even self-indulgent ripping going off on tangents a few times like it used to be back in the arena daze when nobody was watching the clock. Second set had some stuff that sounded a lot like Robin Trower - big fat, bluesy arena sound. His Les Paul has three pickups on it. You should definitely go - you might even get laid!
