I've had the pleasure of seeing him at Waddy shows. Sorry, but whenever I see his name, I can't help thinking that Reid made one of the worst decisions in Rock in Roll, (but it was a good decision for peeps like me).

He probably takes some solace in the knowledge that Zeppelin would have been a very different and probably far less successful band if it had been him instead of Plant. (Remember, they wouldn't have had Bonham either if Plant hadn't joined) Not saying they wouldn't have had a good run. Any band with Page and Jones would have been a major live attraction, but given the almost complete absence of a Jimmy Page post-Zeppelin solo career, I have to come to the conclusion that it was Plant who was the genius mastermind all along.

Last night I checked out Yngwie Malmsteen at Oddbody's in Dayton... billed as a Master Class, a guitar clinic by the man himself. It was just him and his wall of Marshalls, playing to backing tracks which included his axe, so it was kinda double-tracked live. Only did 45-50 minutes, but it was a unique show!

Next up for me is Yngwie again, this time in Vegas at the House of Blues on 8th May... the only gig left on my week's itinerary in LA and Vegas!

Lucius. Anyone who saw Roger Waters last tour knows this band. Holly and Jess are fun. Then its getting on a plane to cross the pond for Clapton at Royal Albert Hall for 3 shows and Al Dimeola at Ronnie Scotts. Fly home and Neil Young in Sea then Bottlerock Festival.

Roger Waters last tour was one of the best shows ive ever seen. 10/10 Brilliant.
