Daddy and daughter weekend, Lyle Lovett & his LARGE band Friday night in Eugene and then again Sunday at the Zoo in Portland.In between we will be attending Portland's waterfront bluesfest!

Lyle and the LARGE band are an annual tradition for us since she was one, now at ten she loves them!

(Sic) AWOLNATION with IRONTOM and Finish Ticket with three of my pals. (Had to look up the other two- I swear Death From Above 1979 were slated instead of Finish Ticket, and I was right!). Oh well, I only really like AWOLNATION, never heard the other two/three. After reading the reasoning for DFA1979 backing out, I have to say- AWOLNATION seems pretty scummy, but hey- they're performing with members of other, much well-known groups- probably a good publicity move on their part!

I feel like this is my second chance- AWOLNATION opened for the Stones in Pittsburgh in 2015, but I didn't see them since I was standing in the field's halls *trying* to stay dry from the rain.

Bill Wymans 80th Birthday Gala - Indigo O2 London, 28th October

Whitford/St. Holmes, July 29 at Route 33 Rhythm and Brews Roadhouse in Wapakoneta, Ohio. Thirty-eight years ago I saw them with their respective bands (Aerosmith and Ted Nugent) in a football stadium. Now I'm driving more than 2 hours to see them in a place that's so small I'll be able to see their guitar strings vibrate.
