Friday- Elton John in Knoxville, TN

Thinking about A-Ha Thursday...but after watching some live videos...I am not so sure. Band sounds great, but the front man sure does not look terribly interested in his own concert. I like a front man who makes every song his favorite tune...

I did buy Midnight Oil tickets yesterday though.

Well, the next show I have tix for is Joss Stone in Ridgefield, CT - was supposed to be next month, but just got word that it is again postponed. This time because she's pregnant with her second child. It may happen sometime next year, but the venue cannot confirm yet.

Citizen Cope on Tuesday, Steve Hackett Sunday. Keeping it at 2 shows a week for now.

I saw an amazing show Wednesday night in Seattle. Amyl & the Sniffers, Aussie punk band. They're kind of like the Stooges with a sweet Aussie lady playing the role of Iggy Pop. If you like that kind of thing, I encourage you to check out their latest record "Comfort to Me". It was 1 of my favorite records of last year. As a bonus the singer was out greeting fans when I walked up to get my tickets & I got a picture with her. This was the best show (tied with Nick Cave) I've seen since concerts started again.
