it got cancelled..
but friday and saturday im going to some coronaproof concerts.. some queen cover band and judy blankcancelled too
if they dont cancelled, tomorrow we mostlikely got new restrictions as covid is booming here

Going to a gig on Sunday afternoon at The Black Lion Pub Garden in Surbiton .....which will be the Pubs first live gig since lockdown.

First live gig for me since the two gigs to see The Who in Kingston on February 12th and 14th............which were great.

Also saw my very last gig a few days later at The Oak Pub in Kingston with Peter Bruntnell and his Band.

Peter is playing outside in the garden , a mainly acoustic set with Malc Hoskins, a local talented bass player.

Really looking forward to it and hopefully there will be a few videos of the afternoon.

New year.. hopefully new shows!!
Optimistic about these shows being able to go by summer.

In addition to the few Stones tickets I'm sitting on, planned a few road trips around some Lucinda Williams/Jason Isbell shows and a couple from Tedeschi Trucks Band.
Red Rocks will work well for one road trip where I'll be able to catch both bands, TTB on July 30 & 31, then Lucinda/Isbell on Aug 1.

Seeing Lucinda/Isbell in Vancouver on July 19, Seattle on the 20th, then two shows in San Francisco July 23,24th.

Can't wait, after only two shows in 2020, there's some serious catching up to do!

I have tickets to shows the Autism Benefit (Stephen Stills & Neil Young) in April in LA and Eric Clapton in May in London. Not expect either will actually happen. I need the needle twice first.

I have a ticket for Robert Cray in March. I doubt it will happen though.

UPDATE: Show now scheduled for August, though I suppose that is questionable as well.

Still have zero tickets, and doubt that will change until the coast is clear which probably won't be until 2022.
Only a year away, and still seems to be a bit soon considering the circumstances and all the unknowns, but here's to hoping.

Just added a Reno show for the Lucinda/Isbell run.
Have seen some great shows in Reno over the years..haven't been in a decade or so though. All shows via car (!). My favorite way to travel.

Should note all the shows I'm planning were rescheduled from the same dates last year.. Was already sitting on some Red Rocks tix when pandemic hit and they rescheduled.
May not see stadium shows this summer, but betting the smaller venues and outdoor shows will be going by mid-July, perhaps with vax proof or test results etc.
Either way, fun and therapeutic just to plan at this stage, great hotel deals and seats available everywhere.. all refundable of course

The last band I saw live was Los Lobos in a small club front center with my wife in Dec. 2019, and if I could pick just one band to see right here, right this minute, it would be Los Lobos again.
Or maybe the Stones...or Steve Winwood/Steely Dan which I had tix for...or Neil Young...or The WHO....or hundreds of other bands....starting to get antsy with no tickets for any band, but the future's starting to get brighter.
