This is a Live Nation package tour, chances are he gets paid a flat rate for the entire tour and if Live Nation has a contract to put so many shows in the building, they will start flyering cars in the parking lot of other shows with tickets in order to sell a few more beers than consider cancelling.
But to answer the original question and on the topic of Live Nation blowouts, I have a ticket for Chicago and REO Speedwagon at the Forum tomorrow which I would gladly sell if I could recoup my $20.
Maybe it is the package of Beck / Rogers / Wilson
And I might be a little off....but I would say best case they sold about 15% of the tickets

Actually, Jeff Beck is my next show on Saturday in Liverpool!
After him it's Stevie Winwood in Manchester on July 2nd, although I'd love to see Dave Byrne next Monday in Manch (even though it clashes with WC football) and Steve Van Zandt in Liverpool on June 30th.

Had an idea about maybe going to see Steve Miller and Peter Frampton tonight, but it's an outdoor show and it's going to be 96 degrees, so .... maybe not.
Beyond that, there's a slight chance I may try to check out Ry Cooder when he plays in Ann Arbor this Friday if I can get off from work early enough.

Just an outstanding show. I saw them in Pensacola - you cannot believe how good Fogerty's band is. Have fun!
