The Eagles 5/24 in Vegas. I know, I know. When in Rome...

Saw the Eagles in Vegas second half of last year. If you've never seen them, you'll like it, tepidly, but don't fool yourself into thinking that any word, note, movement or act is spontaneous. A more rehearsed band you will not find. Don Henley solo is a much more rewarding experience and even then you have to get past the inflated ego. And Don Felder apparently never was in the band.

With all that said, my next tickets are for Neil Diamond in Vegas at Mandalay Bay next Sunday the 17th. My wife really wants to go, so what am I going to do? I admit to buying Sweet Caroline as a 45 back in 1969 when it came out when I was 11 years old, but live when his voice is shot?

Jeff Beck - Thursday

For weeks I'd been looking at, but refusing to buy, $115 balcony seats. Last week, the show appeared to be sold out. Checked back today, just for the hell of it, and scored a pair in the second row! The price: $115.

Feels good to beat Ticketbastard once in a while ....

Steven Wilson on the 26th May. Saw him a couple of times with Porcupine Tree - Great band. I wish Guthrie Govan was still in his band, but I'm sure he's been replaced by a great guitar player.

Thanks xke38 and bluzDude for posting just what I wanted to hear. Had a great time and Primal Scream rocked pretty good. Crowd was a little lame though, but still fun. Was right against the stage for the entire show.

AC / DC (or what´s left…) in Munich, Germany next thursday. I´m looking forward to their support, Vintage Trouble. I love "the Bomb Shelter Sessions" and can´t wait for the follow up, due mid-August in Europe.
