I was reading The Stones by Philip Norman and Nico Zentgraf site was mentioned. Nico gives a link to IORR. Voila! So it was worth reading the book after all.

Urm ... I found a link to it on a Stones fansite (possibly defunct now) in 1997, I think.

Now THAT is poetry! Although I think marriages are easier to leave than cigs, no? In England we have more divorcees than ex-smokers.

I googled Rolling Stones in September 2005 to follow the setlists as I was getting psyched up for seeing them in Atlanta 10/15/06

I came across it around the time the NS tourdates were released (Dec. '98? Jan. '99?) and started following setlists. I discovered the message board a couple of years later.

When lit it's warm and it tastes good, but in the end all you're left with is a cold butt.

I was trying to find a photo of that stage for the Fenways Shows in Boston last year. I googled it, and someone here had posted a couple pics.

Actually, in '99 when I still new to the Stones I was at this CD store looking through their (at the time) HUGE selection of boots from the tour. Some guy was also looking through it and i told him how I went to my first show and wished that the boot for it came up--cuz it was a great show.

He then told me to go online and find the Rolling Stones Fan Club of Europe and they have all the information you can ever get on boots and see if it ever comes up. I thanked him and went on it (it was a different address at the time) and always respected this site for the great info and news.

It was on all Stones related sites as a link, I think I find it (1999) through the best site on the Internet at that moment for a starter (it was the first place were talked to other crazy peolple)

The site is still there last udated in 2001 [home.swipnet.se]

Just saw that IORR is not added as a link, so I don't remember how I got lost here

My young brother, 35, who is as mad of The Stones as me, told me 2 years ago to visit this site where I would learn a lot and would discover that after all these years I was just an ignorant about Keith, Charlie and Mick. He was right.
He also that there were a lot of nuts there too. He is right. Wish I was as nuts as them !!!!

lukester - i can't believe you have such a great memory to know that i went to that show...in fact, i went to that show by myself (as i often do)!!

i had a great dinner (missed jock and jill's), found killer free parking, had a great side-of-stage seat on the aisle and talked to my neighbors next to me. i went to ronnie's exhibit the next day too.

I heard about it from an American Stones fan. What? You're from Norway?! The guy who runs the European Stones Fan Club is Norwegian! You must know him!? This was in 2002, for the tour opening in Boston.
