ER is OK really. The songs could indeed have been better though. Great playing that deserved better songs is what it is what it is. smiling smiley

i like both ER and DW!

i think in a more than 40 years in is inevitable to make mistakes! for me the biggest of the stones are Altamont and the break of 8 ywars between 1997 and 1995 without a new studio record! 8 years without (almost) new stones songs is just too much!

Some cracking stuff on this thread.....

"Led Zeppelin (please, fumble fingers Page? and all that @#$%& mystical shit? Anyone can drink and drug, screw groupies and rip off blues licks)."

Aint that also what the Stones have done?

Without Ronnie - there would have been no Rolling Stones today. Go and read some history.

1. Signing the deal with Allen Klein
2. Hiring Hells Angels at Altamont

From my view, it's obvious these have been the two biggest mistakes ever by The Rolling Stones.
