Damn, it was 25 years ago today: New Orleans Superdome. (and no one will believe me but I swear "Time Is On My Side" from STILL LIFE just started on my stereo...)

In Copenhagen. Parken Stadium in 1998. Was up against the rails at the b-stage. Got LARS, LQ and YGMR. Great show although SFTD and SAR were dull moments.

Glasgow Apollo, 10th May, 1976. !st night of 3, but I only had 1 ticket for the 1st night. Was at University and broke at the time (had to beg the ticket money from my mum). Seat was in a box overlooking stage. Anita and Bianca in opposite box. Stones came on in darkness, started Honky Tonk Women. Lights cxame up and Jagger hiding behind a twirling parasol, Keith battering out the intro in black leather pants - a knock out. My 2nd Stones concert was at Knebworth, but that's another story....

Houston Astrodome, November 8, 1989. I remember getting to the dome the weekend after Labor Day to get tickets with about 15,000 other people in the dome parking lot at 5AM. There was a raffle and it took about 4 hours for everyone to move thru the line. Once tickets went on sale at all the Ticketmaster outlets in the city at 10AM the tickets were gone within minutes. I think the capacity for that show was 49,000. What an experience! I had been waiting for them since the last time they came thru in 1981 - an eight year wait. This doesn't seem so bad now but for a teenager it was hell. Of course, the Stones delivered.

Cleveland, 1975. I was eighteen and they were an "old" band then. Two hours later began a lifelong obsession.

Go back and read carefully. Several were pre-1969.

Bobby Dodd Stadium,Atlanta,Ga.1989,,got me hooked for life,I was21,you see in 86 I had no idea I could still see the Stones,we thought they were done.
